Came Back After Break and Had 1 Killer Game

A lot of my friends we're telling me how great the game got since I took another break from it. They even told me about how fun the new event was, and the unique headpiece for survivors. I used to be a Killer main, most of my friends main survivor. Anyways so after playing a few rounds with them, and people took a break for the day - I decided to jump into a killer match.

After what felt like a forever que (7-8 min's - not too bad actually, but immensly longer than Survivor que was). I got into a match. The team was an extremely cordinated 4 man swf. Like the Nea looped the Killer Shack perfectly, no matter how closely I followed the wall I just couldn't catch up, and she even ran over my traps twice, the slowdown did nothing. For a guy who just came back from a 2-3 month break this was far too strong of a team, let alone facing off against 4 man swf. The Nea's team wasn't as good, but they were pretty damn good. I could tell they were cordinating however because they were 1-3 / 2-2 person teams at opposites ends of the map to bust through generators as fast as possible. I was sweating like crazy and literally reached the point where I was hovering the dc button because the game was 0 fun, and nothing but stress still.

Then they got cocky and started to try and bully me. I mind gamed them out a few times, and proxy camped them for some free hooks. Got to sacrifice one of them. They cordinated their Unbreakable's however to get out of 2 optimal slugging situations - which thinking back on I think they did purposly. I felt like I had 0 control over the game at all, and wasn't even a threat.

Anyways I still sacrificed two of them, and then slugged the 3rd. They ended it by dcing so the fourth could take the hatch.

All I have to say is that the match was 0 fun to play. The win wasn't even rewarding. Then on top of all that in the end game screen they we're nothing but toxic (it was worse even after I mentioned the fact I won since I got 2 kill's and a DC). Terrible experience all together, when I had heard word that the game was better than this again, but it feels just the exact same as when I left it.

Anyway's, have a fun anniversary, congrats on still growing. The quotes in the loading screen I find adorable, beautiful touch. I am going to go back on another break again, because it's awful that the first killer game coming back is this terrible that every single thing that has been wrong with the game was delivered to me on a silver platter. Maybe some day this game will be fun to play again, or even be casual for Killer's.

(Anyone notice the two that were being toxic were the ones that died anyways? Typical)

Yep, that's this game for you.. A tip I would use is when they call you bad in endgame chat just agree with them and say how bad you are as a tunneler camper noob and say how great they are. It makes them salty. I wish you luck and hope you come back soon and try to ignore the annoying nerds who play this game 24/7

Basically. It's why I started taaking breaks. Before I would post alot about the state of the game, and that the reason it's so bad for Killers for more than just the mechanics in the game that make them out to be treated as nothing more than just a tool for the survivors to have fun.

All those posts got were the regular "Then just take a break. The game will be fun when you come back, and when it isn't fun again take another break". Well that's what I been doing. For quite a few months now. I take a break for a month, come back, and the very first game back goes the same way VS an insanely coordinated team, that bully me, and treat me awfully in the end game chat - regardless if they win or lose.

In a game where the Killer is literally the player that is holding their game up, you would think they would be putting in a lot more effort in curbing these abusive players.

So after just one game, I drop the proof back here on the forums where they kept telling me "Just take a break", and then leave for another month. Watch twitch, the updates, and see what BHVR does to make the game a better experience for killers.
