Change DS from a Perk to Baked In but Watered Down
Instead of DS being a Perk you can choose, EVERY survivor gets it, but with these changes:
Lasts 60 seconds after each hook, can only be used once.
DS becomes deactivated when you touch a gen, go in a locker, get fully healed, another survivor gets hooked, or the last gen is completed.
When DS is active, the survivor holds a piece of glass in their hand so the killer knows when they deactivated it if they can get a good look at them.
Unbreakable recovery time bonus is lessened to 5/10/15% due to synergy with everyone having DS.
The point of this DS is to punish tunneling and give the Survivor both a CHANCE to stabilize and CHOICE to decide when they're safe to stabilize but not be able to abuse their 'immunity'. It also gives the Killer the information to make informative best plays and incentivize not to tunnel or get hit with the stabby.

No.
Here's a DS nerf.
Go for the unhooker. Keep track on who's been unhooked. Count to 60. Go for someone else.
And before you give me "What if" situations, "WHAT IF you just went for someone else besides the person that was unhooked recently."
I know it may be shocking but there are 4 survivors in the trial.

if only everyone did it ...

Letting a survivor run free for 60 seconds is a great way for me to lose a gen. Play the other side. Especially if they act like an idiot to make me slug them, and then just have Unbreakable anyways.

One dead, two recently unhooked, one down, third gets unhooked in my face, so they're all down...time to just sit there admiring my slug collection for a minute just to wait out a single perk. Can't move to end the game which lets all four of us have fun sooner because a series of bad saves still let a perk activate for potentially all three of them, nope, gotta just stand there and purposely draw out the game just in case they have the "one minute invincibility" perk.
Yes, I play a lot of survivor. I've used DS exactly 3 times in 3 years, and it was while I was going for Adept Laurie. It's a horribly designed perk and I wouldn't use it even if I allowed myself to use survivor teachables.

You can build in even a watered down version of DS when all killers have a built in Pop or Corrupt.

Did you read it at all and consider playing with it? I feel like this would help both killers and Survivors deal with the situation better.

Then don’t allow survivors to be the same person per game. Like I’m suppose to keep track of which of the 4 damn claudettes I just hooked is. Nothing makes me more mad then picking up a survivor only to be DS when I thought I was chasing the injured unhooker.

I was hoping for less closed-minded, biased responses than yours.

I read it, and at the end of the day it was just "Let's add a second chance to survivors base kit, on top of the ones they already have".

I find it humorous that you feel it's Survivor sided and others feel it's Killer sided. It's not a "second chance" but more of a "first chance to stabilize but at the cost of not doing the objectives". However thanks for reading and considering it at least.

With this "changes" you could even delete DS. The same "idea" Was posted several times before and is still just useless at all.

Obviously you didn't read what I said.
That survivor would be out of place out of mind because you'd be going for someone else. Why is your concern THIS ONE SURVIVOR when there are 3 more in the trial?
Get my point? THIS ONE survivor isn't the only one in the trial. GO FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
See my point? YOUR concern is this ONE SURVIVOR, when my point is there are 3 more.
Stop giving me "but the survivor."
No, no, no.....your problem is that when this survivor is unhooked your vision tunnels to this one, only survivor making you think he/she is the only survivor in the trial, when in fact there are 3 more.
Am I wrong? Are there not 4 survivors in 1 trial?

1, 2, 3, 4.
Can you at least keep track that way?
1 was unhooked, 3 was the unhooker, go for 3.
1 wants your attention, focus on 3. Hook 3, go for 1, slug.
2 and 4 will eventually come to rescue them. Keep a lookout.

Mate you're talking like survivors don't go out of their way to use their DS, that they don't often use the same characters and also dress the same, and that it's easy to remember who you've hooked when there's been a few hooks in quick succession - and yes you're doing well at that point obviously but a 5 second stun for doing well is still miserable.
I'm all for making it an actual anti-tunnelling perk. Make the skillcheck harder and the stun shorter the longer it goes on. A 59 second DS can be a tiny skillcheck with a 2 second stun. Picking up a survivor within 10 seconds of them being unhooked is a massive skillcheck and like a 10 second stun or something equally long + brutal.

I already stated how to counter this. And yes, survivors do go out of their way to bait the DS but either slug them and continue to chase the survivor you've already been in a chase with or ignore them until you've hooked the survivor.
Survivors, like myself, hate being slugged, but I know it's efficient. I also don't mind being slugged because that's the price I pay for bringing DS.
Killers at Red Ranks work around DS and they end up just destroying my teams (some times). Other times we get paired up with fresh Purple Ranks and well...it doesn't end well.
A killer who's pumped many hours into the game already knows the workarounds of DS.
You can tell on the forums who are the newbies from the oldies.

I wouldn't exactly say I'm new, been playing since curtain call and am devotion 7 split about 70/30 survivor/killer
