Genrushing

So ive seen posts that complain about genrushing and also i have seen people say genrushing doesnt exist, its just the objective of survivors.

I agree with the second, BUT:

People leave other people on the hook just before they reach another hook state.

People dont heal

People dont do totems

People dont respect the killer being nearby and repair it until the killer is right in theire face

People try to finish the gen in the killers face.

This is called eficency.

Survivors who play that way will do gens fast, but they are weak to split pressure.

Lets call all of the point above what Genrushing contains.

Killers have the same tools.

Lets call it kill rushing.

kill rushing contains:

slugging

tunneling someone out of the game early

Camping someone until they reach another hook state

smart plays like body blockign until Borrowed time runs out

Its easy: If Genrushing doesnt exist, kill rushing does neither. its just the killers objective.

Both sides have options to speed up the game, both sides use them. both sides should stop complaining XD

    Let's say you are right.

Then survivors have just plenty of tools to protect themselfes from killrushing.

While killers can only counter genrushing by killrushing... but, survivors are already using perks to counter that.

So in the end both sides have an option, but kiler's option is easily counterable... which means that complaints about genrushing are reasonable, when you follow your logic.

I love how easily counterable most killer things are and despite some being easy to counter as a killer most of the survivor things are now common practice to avoid triggering and are commonly taught as things you should do because you never know if they're running it or not.

You barely do that as a survivor. Despite there being 3 more of you. And having basically stronger perks...

I think If you play dirty as killer and the survivors play dirty and have all crutch perks in the world its an equal fight.

However what i see is that "killrushing" is viewed as a noob strat and "genrushing" is doing the objective. And i have to disagree with that.

    its the same.

It's sad you wasted time to write that no sense #########

I find the reason Survivors tend to rush gen, especially last gen when 2-3 survivors on that Gen. Is because once a Gen is done, nothing else Killer can do with that.

This can explain why some survivors willing to take hit and still able to do Gen while Killer on hit cool down, just to complete that Gen and Gates powered.

Killers should gain ability to kick finish Gen down to 95% progress but not regress further. And limit it to 1 kick per Gen, or kick 5 times in total.

The thing is... it's not an equal fight... survivors in this scenario have an upper hand.
