Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

we don't need to buff medium perks, we need to nerf strong perks

my point is that for a perk to be used by a large mass of players, and to become meta, it needs to be better than the perks that are already considered strong. Why would you change your build when you can simply use DS, BT, DH, etc that dont have a lot of requirements? There are a lot of medium perks that aren't considered strong, and trust me, they are, but people forget the definition of strong in this game and that's why we need to nerf the "strong" perks. When there are only medium perks, there wont be a "specific" meta as it is nowadays.

I agree that many perks are weak, and not worth using, but many of them are underrated too, and people wont understand their power, until we shake the meta, and they have nothing else to run on their builds. Have you considered using Aftercare, or Breakout, or Second Wind, or We'll make it? Probably not. A change is needed now more than ever.

So don't improve any perks and just nerf perks, so instead of strong perks, we end up with only medium perks? ...

You buff weaker perks because that makes perks more fun. Nerfing perks makes them less fun.

there are basically no medium perks. 90% of the perks are baseline useless, 5% are forced unto survivors (meta), and 5 % are usable. the game needs a complete overhaul of those 90%.

I think the developers have used New Killer abilities to try and shake up The Meta. Pyramid Head counters decisive strike, stealth builds on Killers or just killers that can use stealth on their own counter borrowed time, and, I guess the plague can counter dead hard since she has a continuous ranged attack. Personally, I like using Lithe alongside dance with me and quick and quiet which helps me to run away from the killer relatively consistently.

Nerfing > Buffing is literally the worst mindset for multiplayer games. People complain about perks being too weak (and a few being too strong) so lets nerf the strong ones so everyone complains about how nothing feels like it does anything? Why?

This is like in an MMO where a Class is stronger than the other's similar to it, and these others feel bad to play because they don't do enough damage/heal enough/tank good enough/feel messy and difficult to pull off well, and instead of the devs buffing the others so they are all pretty equal, they nerf the strong one so they all feel bad to play.

And this is what I think will happen if all perks are nerfed
