I'll say it again - stop using matchmaking and ranks as an excuse for you losing. Ranks, even by the DEVELOPERS OF THE GAMES admission, are just a participation trophy. It takes nothing but playtime to rank up, ESPECIALLY as survivor. Even to rank 1.
Go into solo survivor, get to red ranks, and tell me your team mates are good. Do it.

Obviously he’s a relatively new killer and even if those red tank survivors don’t deserve to be there, (which they probably don’t) They’re still gonna have way more time in the game and are going to be much better in most cases.
I just got to rank 4 for the first time a few days ago and have found out red ranks mean nothing so I do understand that lol

Those red ranks who dont belong are still infinitely better than other rank 15 and new players.
It's so easy to tell immediately when someone's not a red rank even with all the ######### red ranks. Those are the survivors these new killers should be playing with because even ######### red ranks will trounce all over new killers.
You're also dismissing the point that this mm shouldn't be happening anyways AND there are a lot of red ranks who do belong just completely smashing these new players even worse than ######### red ranks.

The rank 1 survivor at the top is the one that's highlighted, so unless he's posting someone else's screencap... isn't he the rank 1 survivor?

haha yeah that was the first thing I noticed before even scrolling down to see the killer's rank. I think a lot of people are used to killers posting about the bad matchmaking and they forget that 1. the survivors may not be having fun when there's no challenge, or 2. the survivors may have empathy. It's a crazy idea that maybe not everyone enjoys steamrolling unskilled players.

I would be fine with waiting longer for a game, IF it would actually increase the quality of the match. Waiting 10+ minutes and still getting such rank diversity is just unacceptable. And yes, I know the devs are working on a new system, but matchmaking has never been that bad.
