I learn something with that patch and its if you whine enough i mean like 80% of the player base you can get change done in your favor so survivor can you ask for ds to be change plz i feel like the dev like you more

Umm This patch was mainly bug fixes and few changes to pyramid head that dont affect you unless you're a tunnler or camper

Actually it does, because if there's only 2 people left, camping IS a tactic, whether you like it or not. Just means now the cage is useless when it's 2v1. It would be reasonable if NO ONE could see the cage, or they compensated by removing the yellow gen from PH's perk, but, like op said, anything to please the survivor base.

Camping is horrible in a 2 v 1 situation, and really? Anything to please the survivor player base? They fixed Clown to make him arguably a good killer now, they reduced map sizes, removed most infinites and buffed all the perks on both sides for the recent chapter.

Seeing the cage also gives a ton of info even if you do not tunnl or camp, by that logic why not make every hook teleport away from the killer and make it so the killer doesn't see them anymore, there, no more camping or tunneling.

And no it wouldn't be "reasonable" if no one could see the cage because that would make ph very op

They could've simply gave him a QoL buff to compensate for double-hammering him down, his M2 is VERY awkward to use and most ppl don't play DBD for hundreds of hours to get used to such terribad controls.
He's terribly jittery and feels like playing a tank during his M2.

Also, op, devs are ALWAYS in the survivors side because survivors bring much more money to them than killer mains. That's why they nerfed ruin, nurse, spirit, etc, so playing survivor is stupidly easy.

If the devs’ only concern was pleasing the survivor base, NOED would have been deleted long ago and they wouldn’t have reworked several maps. They care about balancing the game for both sides.

In that scenario is actually better to hook instead of caging and camping in 2vs1 is the worst strategy you can follow if you want 4k since it leaves the other guy ample time and space to search for the hatch while you look at the hook.

You don't have to cage the survivor. If it's a 2v1 and you want to camp, then hook them normally. Decisive Strike? Slug them for 60 seconds first. Can't count to 60 accurately? Equip Make Your Choice and wait for its cooldown to complete before picking up the Survivor with Decisive Strike. No room for Make Your Choice in your build? Then tough.

I main him at rank 1 since the release and I think I was doing well as him. I will still play him because I like his ranged attack, but it pisses me off

PH lose a source of info with this patch making the cage move away when you camp is a great idea but removing the aura reading is dumb, one of those nerf is to much

Possibly, you're new to online gaming. It's a common marketing strategy when new content is released to make it 'broken' in certain aspects to boost sales at the beginning, only to 'fix' those issues later on.

I can. The game is balanced pretty decently right now. Sure sometimes better players will beat you and certainly rng still can drastically sway the balance from one side to the other. But as a rank 1 killer and survivor (who lately mainly plays solo), I can tell play killer at red ranks for 50 games and tell you it's balanced for the most part.

Which would be an issue if we were tunneling. You were talking about camping which I imagine, if done properly, prevents BT and DS from entering into it because you're supposed to be downing the rescuer before they can unhook in the first place.

Honestly, since Day 1 PTB many people from both sides have said that the Cages are unhealthy as they were. Its not about "whining" it is about identifying problems. And the solution BHVR went for is good, the Cages still get their use and still ignore Hook Perks, but cannot be used to tunnel someone that easily.
Players who play PH normally wont feel the change.

Bruh that right there is downright stupid, I've seen some that hooked first and cage second so they won't worry about ds, and he'll now everyone is gonna be complaining "all they do now is double hook and mini Mori like as if people complaining didn't make the killers play like a bigger #########.

This just shows how many skill less killer crybabys we have in the forum. Legit the only reason why someone would complain is if he is trash as killer and HAS to camp to win matches. Or get 1 kill. So ya all crying about cage changes you are exposing yourself that you are just bad at the game

I've never seen this be complained about in the last month.
In the last month all I've seen are people complain about DS, Unbreakable, Slugging, Lockers, Springtrap, How we should all be wanting Springtrap, how Springtrap is underrated and how it needs bigger support, how now the #1 killer we all want is Springtrap, why the Devs haven't talked about Springtrap yet theymustalreadyhavemadeitsilenceisconfirmation.
Like the only threads I've seen about PH are praising him for being in the game, period. How it's the best Killer they've added to date, how it counters DS, Unbreakable, all the meta perks, and is a free mori at final hook if they're under Torment, which is very easy to make happen when you use Trail of Torment intelligently.

Firstly, not all killers a tunneling scum, if you feel that way I suggest you stop being a "main" and play both sides so you can learn some [BAD WORD] perspective. Survivor and Killer "mains" are what's breeding the massive toxicity in this community.
Secondly, the changes to PH are meh, yes it gets rid of some information but makes it more likely you'll find a different Survivor and eliminates the Survivor feeling like they're being "tunneled" and if you do find the cage it makes it move, which if you're face camping you need to learn to be a better killer anyway.
