The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Decisive is almost necessary for most games.
I have always been a killer main and usually never bothered to play survivor until I needed to do tome challenges and get crowns. Honestly solo-que is an experience to say the least. My killer experience definitely helped a lot so I would say I played averagely well, but I noticed that in every match that didn't have DS the killer would tunnel the team to hell and back. I don't have Laurie since I unlocked Micheal with cells and a lot of my survivors are level 2 so I was almost perk-less for most of the match. Basically meaning I only had Urban Evasion to help myself with. Now I'm not saying it is entirely the killers fault, since my team mates would just run away and leave me for dead because match making, but I am saying it is almost impossible to deter the killer from tunneling without the obsession icon. Sure I can do my best to try to loop the killer for as long as I can, but if you're in a dead zone or like I said before your team mate just leaves you to die there's not a lot you can realistically do. I'm sure a lot of people will just say that I'm a baby survivor who needs crutches since killers are endless victims but it highlights a genuine problem with the core game play. I don't think the perk is as bad as people make it out to be, but it does definitely need some tweaking.

Make it that only the obsession can use it and it will be balanced.

Then it sucks dick and completely defeats the purpose of even having it. Only 1 person not being tunneled fixes nothing.

Half the time it feels like a wasted slot to me, but when its needed its really needed

To be honest. Tunneling has a good and evil side. If you really need to down a survivor because either they know where the hatch is or where a lit totem is,etc. then you might need to tunnel them. But if doing so out of smite is wrong.

Spite* not smite

I personally don't run DS because I prefer to use the slot for other things and I'm more of an altruistic player (We'll Make It, Borrowed Time, and For the People on my main), but I totally agree that a LOT of the times, it is necessary because of how strong tunneling is as a tactic

The secret mystery of me is:
I've never used Decisive Strike. I have it unlock on many characters. I just have never tried it. Thats my secret mystery! 🌸

Dont like the perk at all. If the devs said: screw the intended design of ds and make it offically an anti tunneling perk, i would be fine with it.
But it wasnt designed with the thought of countering tunneling.
I feel this perk would be healthy for the game when its tweaked as An anti tunneling perk not an anti snowball perk.
So maybe remove the effect when the survivor is doing a generator but buff the perk by removing the skillcheck of ds.

Never used DS and very rarely I've been tunneled. I guess it depends on platform, time of day and region how often tunneling happens.

This.
In >85% of your games it'll just be a wasted perk slot; but in those other ~15% you'll absolutely need it to prevent the Killer from camping and/or tunneling you to death. Funny thing is whenever you think "damnit! I'm sick of running with 3 perks" and swap out DS for something else, you'll wish you had it the very next game.

I think you're onto something. I'm a killer main, so I've limited playtime in survivor every day. However, PC central/southern EU, I very often see insta tunnels off the unhook, even when performed safely. And then insta picking up and getting DS'd, even multiple times. And not necessarily strategically.

I don't know what the actual server location is but I'm Nordic EU PC player. I don't play that much survivor so I could just actually be incredibly lucky with killers. Maybe it's time to devote one evening to survivor only and keep a log and see what happens.
