Why Don't killers get a extra boost after 5 gen's
After all generator's are completed more then likely the game is over. And we all know the EGC isn't designed to give you kills. Even though I feel it should have some killer benefit. Im5only asking why doesn't the killer have like a 3% Movement speed or something to help once all the gen's are powered. I'm not talking about No-ed the killer should have a passive power once all gen's are completed as the entity is trying to help him/her secure kills. What do you think?

So basically make noed basekit without the insta down

Why can't killers regress doors? Why is opening them the only option?

Im assuming you didn't read the whole thing. Not to make noed basekit but a movement speed or something.
That would be amazing! Great idea gen's regress so why not doors. Imagine this as a hex perk. Like noed the exit gates cant open or the entity blocks them until the hex is cleansed.

That’s basically what noed is without the instant down.

In terms of your question, the gates having a regression would work as mentioned previously to disrupt the 99%, but am not sure a small speed boost would make a significant difference.
But to balance the game better, then something really needs to be done to slow down the start of the game, which I believe BHVR are currently working on. If that beginning is made longer, that would give a better edge for the Killer than a small speed boost.

NOED grants 2/3/4% movement speed based on perk level while NOED is active.
So your suggestion is a level 2 NOED like speed buff but without the exposed part of the perk.
Or another way to put it is a baseline but weaker "Hope" for killer.

Why should killers be rewarded for failing to stop gens? At least with NOED they're sacrificing a perk slot until end game. And it has a counter.

Because after 5 gens is when the Killer should be at his weakest, since the Survivors have successfully completed the primary portion of their objective.

What about killers that are designed to become more powerful as the match nears the endgame? Like Freddy description suggests (although we all know he gets weaker as the gens get popped)

They will do so without the base game mechanics forcing it.

Why don't survivors?

Why should the Killer be rewarded for failing to do his job?.
Also EGC isnt in the game to benefit the Killer or the Survivors, its there to speed things up by ending the trial to avoid hostage situations where Survivors would just troll the Killer nonstop with the gates opened.

Wait a second... You want killers to be rewarded a speed boost when they fail to stop gens from popping instead of a speed boost for survivors for actually completing their objectives? This is a pretty backwards ida. Killers already have a built in speed boost. It's called bloodlust.

Because they have an extra boost all game LOL

I see no reason killer getting speed boost after gens are done. If you want speed boost, run NOED and you might get speed boost + instadown at end game.

its called Hex: No One Escapes Death and its a base perk unlocked for every killer.
you want an extra boost, run that.

I would like if the killer had some kind of final stand kind of thing
Don't think movement speed is the right call though. Something enviromental would be nice. I would rather have the egc start when the generators are finished with increased timer
