Hotfix 4.0.2.: surv perks "fixed" but moris still work on caging
Killers are crying for anything, BUT none killer is mentioning anything about still being able to mori after just caging a survivor, but its fine that survivor perks got "fixed" to not work with cages. Nice double standards again.

yes, offerings come always into play, offerings aren't even remotely tied to the single game, offerings are into killers basekit. LMAO.

The cage is literally a hook state so what is your point? And moris are offerings not perks so again: What is your point?
Also "just" caging a survivor? In order to cage a survivor you must TORMENT them before WINNING the chase. That's more effort than just downing you and putting you on the hook that's most likely right next to the spot you got downed at so for the 3rd time:

Well, cages works like hooks and has the same function without being hooks, meaning every perk doesn't work but moris does.
Cages are like a hook, they has the same value as a hook.

This is like the one time ill agree since the mori specifically states "kill one survivor who has been HOOKED during the trial" also moring after a cage prevents bt from stalling alittle. I would at least like to know the reason the devs have for it.

I see a lot of nonsensical logic in this thread. Either the devs need to come up with a new description for moris or they need to not work with cages.

Speak for yourself. I haven't used a mori offering since 2019 and consider them unfair myself. That doesn't change the fact that the cage is 1 hook state which is the current requirement for moris.
Also since cage auras are no longer revealed for Pyramid Head it makes them A LOT better than a regular hook anyways.

Didn't survivor cried that the aura of cages shouldnt be shown to ph because of camping, and that fix happened in this hotfix?
But hey guess survivors are the only one that are allowed to cry🤷♀️

alright lets try it this way the description of the mori says and i quote: Grants the ability to kill all Survivors who have been hooked by your hand during the next Trial.
nothing mentioned about hook states it says specifically been hooked not been caged...

I'm confused what the issue here is.
Cages counting as hooks towards mori stages is intended. The killer has to do just as much work for the down as a normal hook and even more because he had to get the person Tormented as well.
If you wanna argue about mori's in general then that's fine, I think they need reworks as well, but in regards to cages counting as hooks I don't see the problem.

You literally said op is talking to people that mori off cage which includes me.
Also obviously the mori description is outdated at this point which doesn't change the fact that the cage equals hook states. That's not even an opinion but a mechanical fact. Cage someone twice then put them on a hook and see what happens. They die instantly because... Cages are hook states.

Mori's look at the hookstates you have rather then if you have been hooked before
I don't see them completly reworking how mori's detect if someone is mori-able or not just for PH so get used to it, it will probably stay the way it is.
Untill mori's are reworked sometime maybe perhaps
