The billy nerf is ok
Everyone won’t stfu about the billy nerf and how it’s gonna ruin him like the nurse. First of all the ptb hasn’t even gone live yet so if ur gonna cry about it then wait. Secondly the nurse nerf didn’t ruin her it just made her a harder killer to use which was warranted because she can stop loops and has good mobility.
Ok so the main point of the thread* The billy nerf is ok. From the view of a survivor main and a partial killer player the nerf seems justified. It’s out of the blue and super random but it’s great if a billy is camping a hook and constantly revving. Sure it’s harder to curve on loops but if ur a good billy u can probably overcome it.(maybe, we’ll see on the ptb) It just increases the skill ceiling which I think is amazing since billy has great gen pressure with his kit. (Especially with bbq, pop, corrupt and even infectious)
Add ons* nothing much to say but his new add ons are pretty cool. Especially his ultra rare which is really good for baiting pallets and forcing a drop which will end up in a down cause the saw will go through the pallet.

I'm sorry but your post literally is just trying to dictate how people feel on an issue that evidently doesnt remotely equate to you..being a survivor main you lose nothing but gain easier matches as a result

I’m not trying to dictate crap. I’m putting my reasoning out there to start a conversation about the state and future state of the game. This may surprise you but even tho I’m a survivor main i still want what’s good for the game. I love the bubba buff and bubbas one of my favorite killers. I just think the nerf is fine it has nothing to do with winning easier

No it’s harder 2-3 blinks is enough for a good killer to do well. I think ur mad because u can’t abuse 5 blinks anymore

Trust me, they'll get used to it
At least they are not going to tell them that you are broken, I usually do 3k/4k with the nurse very often and they no longer tell me that I don't belong in this game after the nerf. 🤷♀️

Indeed..I'd like you to look at the first clip..that was half a charge for what is a medium chainsaw by Billy standards..then look at clip two..less than ten seconds of rev to overheat the saw with a cooldown of over 15 seconds on the accelerated cd..meaning the normal cd is much longer..now..imagine you rev across the map..find a guy..try to mind game a pallet..your meter will be near full from just that..that's huge..means your screwed if you miss even one shot

I love it when every time there's a nerf to survivor, survivors aren't allowed to complain. But when killer nerfs happen, all hell breaks loose.

Curving is the same,the problem is you can't MINDGAME THE LOOP to be able to gain enough distance for a flick/curve if you can't hold the saw. You can't do proper mindgames if you overheat too quickly,and if you are forced to use 2 addons to compensate for the overheating,then all the speed in the curve is lost(which you got by running double engravings)and now u're left with a default billy.

I said it could be. No one knows since the ptb isn’t live yet. If a survivor throws a pallet he can eat it then hit you. Sounds cool to me

Yet as I mentioned..that men sprint put his meter at half..its much faster when just reving..that's what your failing to understand the implications

As a survivor, i think the billy nerf isn't necessary since I think he is one of the most balanced killers in the game. Saying that, i also think some of the perk "Buffs" are a little..... ehh...... Like the Franklin's Demise and Lightborn ones. Especially since firecrackers are event items with one charge and once they're used they're gone forever. I think the bubba buffs were much needed though and this will definitely discourage insidious camping bubba which is nice as well.
