Actually everyone please use your cakes. We need those 5 cake stacks to get lots of blood points so we can get more cakes. Once the event ends our opportunity is lost so use them now!!!

Until they bring back dc penalties, it's a waste to use them. Another genius idea from the devs.

I think he means that after July 14th they are no longer obtainable from the bloodwebs. Use the cakes now, so you can level more and get more cakes until July 14th.

My advice is to ask the other survivors if they're running cakes, and play killer during prime time. Otherwise, holding onto them for a blood hunt isn't a bad idea, but even games I've lost have netted 100k+.

But you won't be able to get more cakes then. Use one now and you get enough blood points to do two more blood webs thus getting two or three more cakes. Creates a positive feedback loop. No better time to use them than now.

I don't know what's going on, but most of my killers are getting 3-4 cakes every bloodweb, so I have 20-40 on a handful of killers and I've been using one every match I've played since the event started. I don't think i need to save any of them, lol.

I don't use my cakes or event offerings at all simply because I run into iri-head or ebony every round. It's a waste. Facing nothing but scumbags at rank 1.

From what I’ve seen most killers dont seem to care. They burn cakes and then just stand around their first hook hard camping.

He means that when the event ends they won't appear in bloodwebs anymore. So we should use them now to get more BP for MORE cake.

Im surprised how many people don't understand this. Currently using 1 cake each game nets you c.a. 2-3 cakes, so even though you burn one every game, the amount you have should still increase each time you play. Do NOT save your cakes, people! You'll get much less out of them after the event

In the off chance any of you run into me on Switch, still not killing people. Letting everyone get a shot at the crown, if there's cakes in play letting licensed and already crowned escape as well. My intention is just to farm 2hooks off everyone so, for the official record of my reputation: IF YOU DIE(D) IN A MATCH WITH ME DURING THE 4TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT IT IS(WAS) BECAUSE YOUR TEAM SUCKED AND COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO SAVE YOU BECAUSE THEY'RE DOUCHEBAGS. True, but I remember during the initial blood hunt last, folks were burning quite a few cakes & BPS then. I've been burning them now though. The BP is gouda.

I've been using my cakes. Haven't had too much trouble with DC's. I also get more cakes. And I've finally almost got every perk on Cheryl. I imagine within a week or so I'll have everything for her!

As killer, I spent 7 cakes last night, capped at 1 mill BP, pumped that 1 mill into my major breadwinner (doc, but I'm doing this with legion too), and gained 29. That's a net gain of 22 cakes for the 7 spent... so, there's no harm in spending them now since I'll be getting back 1-3 for every 60-80k BP I spend. I currently have 56 on Doc, 52 on Legion, 36 on Pyramid head, 22 on Plague, 28 on Feng Min, etc... and there is another 10 days left in the event, so as long as everyone is using them throughout the event, by the time it ends I'll probably be well stocked for the next year. but yeah...
Did I miss a message from the devs about removing the DC penalties?
Is this an intentional test to prove that the DC penalty system was working to deter DC's?
Or is this a bug?
Either way, it couldn't have happened at a worse time... I mean I know everyone's getting plenty of BP right now, win or lose, but I noticed the DC's are increasing and it's starting to ruin the event for me too.
If someone has a response from the devs about it, I'd appreciate a link. If there hasn't been a response, I'd likewise also appreciate one from them about this.
