Why do I de-pip in situations like this?
- Playing against Cannibal
- Run him around for 3 gens
- Get put in basement
- Get insidious camped
- Nothing the other survivors can do
- I de-pip because he decided to be a [BAD WORD]
I don't understand why it's just fair for me to get griefed like that and I still get to de-pip.

You should have lured him away from the basement. Especially after wasting his time long enough for 3 gens to pop.

Yeah, he should have just unhooked himself so he can distract the killer so he can get unhooked. Entirely his fault.

It gets to a point where I don't have much choice. I ran out loop spots and pallets in the general area I was keeping him in and I was forced to head toward that direction. Even without it he had Agitation and Iron Grasp. There almost no way I wouldn't be sent to the basement even if I was a mile away from where it spawned.

We've been requesting a method to give points to the survivor who's being camped.
"Distraction" points in Altruism.

It would also be nice if I was actually rewarded for wasting time. I loop him for a ######### ton of time and end up barely getting over 10k BP because I couldn't do any gens or heal anyone.

Distraction points in altruism needs to be rewarded for not suiciding on hook when killer is camping! Good call Big Brain Meg. It's up to the dev's to make this long standing issue right to discourage hook camping and suiciding on hook.

It wasn't my idea, it's an idea that I think was posted either on Reddit or on the Steam forums back when Ruin was nerfed and the "killer rebellion" started and they were being jerks to the survivor community.

Well, you didn't touch generators but Distraction would have given you some of that. Bronze or Silver Survival for time, since you're limited to Silver max when you die. No Altruism because nobody was able to unhook or heal. Good chaser depending on the amount of time.
But yeah, that Altruism and Survival emblems would have killed it for you.
All because Bubba got salty.
