For the Lisa Garland skin, at least change the character title from Cheryl to Lisa
I love Silent Hill, and the Lisa Garland skin was an insta buy for me. While the skin lacks a different voice, I am actually ok with it since Cheryl's voice fits Lisa better.
However the lack of title change is what is bothering me most. I am playing as one of my favourite characters from Silent Hill and no one online knows who she is. Not everyone is a Silent Hill fan which I get, but ive been getting called Cheryl or Nurse or whatever. While this isn't a huge complaint, playing as a completely different character for a high price ($15 which is a lot for dbd) and having no one recognize or even know her name is a lil upsetting.
So I am not sure if this comes down to licensing issues, but when using the Lisa Garland skin, can Cheryl's name be changed in lobby to Lisa Garland? I love Lisa a lot but this legendary skin is a little underwhelming (only cause no one knows who she is, whats the point of playing as a completely different character if no one acknowledges her?) and if future legendary skins aren't going to help give the character a unique identity, I think Lisa will be the only skin I will purchase.
I will say though, the campfire animation and lobby idle animation are very nice and very in character for Lisa. Kudos to the team for that. I rambled a lot in this post but i hope my message is clear, and hopefully I can have this post acknowledged by BHVR.

The Devs said they would like for there to be a completely different voice actress for the Lisa skin. It seems to me like they want the legendary skin to have a whole different persona, as if they were a new character so the chances are they will be changing the lobby name and character portrait in the future.
Bear in mind that this is their first legendary skin so they aren’t going to get everything right first try, it’s possible no one on the dev team thought of this idea and are taking notes of suggestions like this.
This sort of update probably won’t come for a while though, the devs are likely focusing their time on the anniversary event bugs and fixing issues with totem spots, gen locations and collision issues (there seems to be a lot of them in this chapter, even on older maps.)

They might still add it, they also forgot Steve’s watch on the scoops ahoy outfit at first but added it later.

very understandable, I've seen online of them talking about better features for future legendary skins. Hopefully Lisa gets included in the treatment

True,it also happened with Nancy's Christmas Sweater if im not mistaken? If i recall correctly,she was missing her necklace too,that's why im still hoping they make her more true to her Silent Hill 1 look,and the most important too,a Unique Voice so it's completely different

I don't think she was ever missing her necklace. I remember when the sweater first came out most of the necklace was clipping into it so you could hardly see it.

I want at the very least a James Sunderland legendary skin for whoever. SH2 literally has no connection with Cheryl, PH is the manifestation of James.

PH's prestige 3 head description talks about how this version of pyramid head is an manifestation of Cheryl's guilt (most likely about the cult killing her dad to get to her) but i do agree with you. James would be an amazing legendary skin to have, and is probably imo one of the most iconic protagonists.

don't worry guys, next Legendary girl skin, theyll get one of the office girls to do the voice, cant cost but a few extra hours on the check and a release form, maybe a independent contractor bonus.
They will learn from this, they made tons of money and will adapt.

I hope!! tbh idk if I'll buy another legendary skin, it really depends on the character and if it changes voice/ gives them a different identity.
I have super high hopes though, and I really like the concept of legendary skins since our cast of characters can really grow :)
