Candyman could be a good old freddy
If you think about it Old freddy power would fit Candyman and alot of people did like old freddy for being unique so if we ever get Candyman it would be cool to see a good version of old freddys power

If they release another killer with his stats I will scream.

This. Old Freddy was a walking carpet for survivors to walk all over unless you ran an incredibly specific build that focused on one incredibly specific part of the game and ignored the rest of it (The forever door build)
Also, I repeat this again: Why would you want old Freddy back? He was literally an m1 killer, his only power was to make it so he could interact with survivors... That's terrible (again, outside of forever door).

He had the most pressure in the game and had transition mindgames. He was an easy mid tier or possibly mid to low.
Personally id put him next to pig in mid tier.

Only if you played him in a specific way though. You pretty much gave up trying to win until the end game where you could sleep everyone and the gates would take like 2 minutes to open.
Outside of that he had game-breaking flaws. It was a cool concept but it was just riddled with flaws.

The hit and run build slowed down gens to a crawl, and the transition made you get easy first hits and sometimes downs. He was short so he could mindgame more pallets than usual and absolutely destroyed any stealth build.
As long as you played as a hit and run killer, he was pretty consistent on winning, of course not against good SWF but barely any killer is at that so that why he was mid tier.

I'll give it to the diehard Freddy fans, yall put up with his flaws and still want more lol.
If they could fix all of his glaring issues he had due to his power I would be ok with another killer basically being that.
But you'd seriously have to fix those absolutely atrocious flaws.

I am confused. He was one of the weakest (if not the weakest) killers in the game with a bad mechanic. And now ppl honestly miss him?

He had so much pressure and very good add-ons, the concept was so original and without a dubt he was the funniest killer, the fact is that people actually didn’t care about his “weakness”

Old Freddy was decent in the right hands but I'd rather get Pinhead as an Old Freddy analog. Pull survivors into the Lamont Configuration where they have to find a way out while you optionally chase them.
SCP-106's pocket dimension could also be similar to Classic Freddy and work as a unique "hook-less" killer similar to Pyramid Head. (Survivor can only survive in the dimension for X amount of time, and the time is carried over from each time they get trapped so if you're constantly getting sent there, you will eventually die and thus want to get out as fast as possible each time.)

You stalked your dreaming survivors to know which survivor was working on what and with who, and then planned your attack. His power was way more of a mind game then let's say...spirits.

lol this message did not go directly to their discussion, it went to those who were saying they wanted the old freddy.. they asked for buff for old freddy and now they want him back, that mechanics makes the killer a trash.
