Impossible situation against Doctor
Just had a game where someone used 'Borrowed time' on me. I was against the Doctor and he had shocked me to level 3.
I got away and tried to 'mend' but I had to 'snap out of it' first. But by the time I finished it, the 'deep wound' had downed me.
Bit unfair, had no way of beating that situation R.I.P

Yeah, its honestly kinda stupid that Snapping Out gets Priority over mending. IMO something that can be changed since Doc is a strong Killer and will not get hurt by changing it.

Ye that should be changed.

I would hope it's just an oversight but it's been in the game so long at this point they might actually think it's balanced.

Dunno how that happened..in my experiance you have plenty of time..at least now you know better

It was intentional

Got any proof of that?

Not unless you go digging through dev streams

That probably should be changed but I always have enough time to mend. Plenty of time imo

It takes 12 seconds to snap out of it and 10-20 seconds for the BT deep wounds timer to run out (with it pausing when you're sprinting or mending. Either they only had tier 1 Borrowed Time, you missed skill checks or you let the timer get too low.

They confirmed it's intended, without giving a reason.
Although, the reason is really simple. In 4 years they haven't been able to add another key bind for different actions and, if they did, we'd probably get bugs where a survivor holds W and the killer starts floating and ends up on a hook in the exit gates.

Wow you're probably right. Oof :/

Well, Tier 3 Madness is supposed to be a significant hindrance and Borrowed Time isn't supposed to be a complete immunity with a downside that you're guaranteed to remove.

I think they had tier 2. But as I was snapping out they furtherly shock blasted and I was caught up in it, interrupting my snapping out and I guess that's how the timer ran out.

others can still mend you, so instead of doing it yourself you might want to look for other players who can do it for you.
also, i think the time required to snap out of it is less than the time required for your mending bar to hit 0, so unless the Doc is using the one add on that makes snapping out of it longer, you should be able to do both on your own.
