Statistically survivors should always win
Each survivor has 3 lives
There are 4 survivors
Which means you have to hook 12 times to get everyone killed.
There are 5 generators and it takes 80 seconds to complete? (Correct me if im wrong)
1 killer chases 1 survivor leaving 3 survivors on gens
3 survivors = 3 generators which means if one gen pops and the killer hasen't downed a survivor yet chances are the survivors win

thats why killers have powers and perks to help with pressuring gens and ending chases faster

Even in the lobby the killer can see the item and adapt the killer/build to counter it directly.
Like you see 4 medkit, the killer pick plague which make your medkit useless.

We had this "discussion" already several times. How about using the search function, and understand how this game really works?

Ideal survivor play does beat ideal killer play.
Most games won't be ideal, but yes.

You shouldn't be thinking "survivors have three lives". That's one way of thinking that makes the game unfun.
As a survivor, I hate games where the killer three hooks everyone. As a killer, three hooking everyone means that the game should have been over long ago but wasn't because of faults in the hooking mechanics.

3 lives are not guaranteed.
tactic is also very important. so many killer chase good surivors too long at the start. than they tunnel through bt,ds and in the end adrenaline while 3 survivors are unpressured repairing. not to mention that that one surivor beeing chased all game knows which pallets are dropped and he can run you "one round around the map" and using all pallets... during that time noed gets cleansed and the rest bodyblocks for the chased survivor and they will tbag you at the open gate.... and than the killer complains about genrush.
its often better to pressure multiple survivor and let the unhooked person get healed while you chase another survivor.
its often possible to push the survivors into a 3 or 4 gen strat.
the killer can punish "gens before unhook" plays with going back to the hook and forcing the survivor into struggel stage.
there is often no time to hook all surivors 3 times but the killer can switch between only two survivor if he keeps finding them and ignore the "fresh hooks"
with so many different tactics on both sides and 5 individual playerskills that you cant break down dbd into the naked numbers.
not to mention that one side can switch the match into a cakewalk with some addons/items.

It helps that teams are often very altruistic. Had a game as Huntress where all gens completed and only 1 survivor on death hook. They kept saving and swapping enough for me to get the 4k. The game easily could have ended with 3 survivors escaping.

What if you don't hook everyone 3 times? This post doesn't make sense due to the amount of variables in it. Some include:
- When any survivor dies.
- Where the survivor is looping at (could be near a gen that was being worked on).
- Map.
- Which generators they do (possible 3 gen).
- Saving hooked/slugged survivors.
Way too many variables to talk about stats.

It's true.
If the first gen pops and you haven't hooked anyone yet then your odds of getting a kill just went down by roughly 50%
If 2 gens pop and you haven't hooked anyone then it's highly unlikely you'll get a single kill. You've got maybe a 30% chance in that situation.
Which isn't to say it's impossible but just increasingly unlikely unless you go into hyper twitch streamer focus level.
The game is about as far from casual as it gets

You know that doesnt make sense.

???
Do you not understand the concept, or...?
It's pretty basic. I think most humans won't have trouble with it.

The killers goal is not to get 12 hooks, it's to get 4 kills. You can get 4 kills without even needing to hook a single person if you play a certain way. There are also many different factors that can drastically change the outcome of a match. Perks, addons, offerings, maps, skill level, did someone dc, did the killer guess wrong at the beginning and go to a gen no one was on, did someone bug and get stuck, was it a swf, etc.

Statistically using no mither makes you god

how is the hooking mechanic broken?
