Should the Endurance status be applied to people who get unhooked and immediately get tunnled?
I feel like the developer team or the group should add like a system kinda like the DC Penalty system ((Which is broken on Xbox.)) But would prevent from killers to tunnel survivors as soon as they got off hook. ((It's really disappointing to get off a hook then the killer immediately tunnels you when they're 3 other survivors doing other things.)) Which is why I thought that there should be a feature that normally happens to u when you get unhooked or save yourself. So that when u do get saved. You can get like a small endurance effect so u wouldn't immediately die due to a person being a complete jerk.
This seems like a awful idea as you could say "just have DS", "Use spine CHILL & Iron will" or "just plain invade the killer" but it's kinda hard when u already get caught then u just get camped and when u get off. Immediately go down without having DS.

I don't know why people hate tunneling. I'm just going for an easy target. And no I don't camp.

after u unhook he down you and go for red mori.... I met killer in below rank 10 early when i am red rank [ still now red rank] and that is what killer doing to me....
camping, tunnel , red mori... i get 2 k bloodpoint for the result... while my other survivor random friend don't really care...
and developers said its fine... he not break the rule..... just feel chill the game bro....

They actually do already have that in the game, where the unhooked person has the endurance effect. I believe its actually a perk for survivors that lets them put it on the survivor as they're unhooking them. Im not sure what its called though since i rarely see survivors run it for some reason

this would be good for those unfortunate camp situations. but bt is such a good perk, so i think it would be too much to have built in endurance

Sounds like a free borrowed time and no. Any hook proximity penalty to screw campers over the survivors can and will be abuse. Because it doesn't just affect campers but those that are chasing a survivor around the hook too.

Idk if I agree. I hate getting tunneled, but this means Survivors could always get the unhook without consequences.
You're effectively asking for Borrowed Time to be base kit for Survivors, and that might be too powerful imo.

I think that would get abused. Just an example I hit the unhooker and start the chase the unhooked survivor could just body block and both get away. What you're asking for is just free bt.
I understand nobody likes getting tunneled. Unfortunately I can't think of a way to mitigate it without the method being abused.

No. A perk exists for that. However if running BT protected you when you were unhooked I'd be okay with this.

Going for a survivor right off the bat. Makes u seem like u want a easy kill cause u know they're already injured and have no way of escaping your grasp

No, but I think they should get a haste status effect after getting off the hook. And in return a repair penalty as long as the haste status effect is up.

Look, what I was trying to say to make a effect where they would have to wait to maybe like get paused for maybe like 10 seconds ( to let the survivor escape and get some heals in ). I'm tired so I can't grasp my idea correctly.

This would just encourage bad saves just like how BT does.
Most "Tunneling" or "Camping" I have ever seen in the game comes from bad saves/Teammates running straight into the killer/Wanting me to heal them under hook despite being able to physically see the killer coming from across the map because they constantly were healing under hook.

I don't mind it actually just find it a bit unfair for some survivors especially those who don't have DS, dead hard or BT on them.

Because camping and tunneling is a sure-fire way to screw yourself over. Also it just shows that you’re bad at playing killer so you feel like you gotta target one survivor.
Not trying to be harsh but camping and tunnelling are trash all around. And it’s not against the rules but the only time I can excuse it is during EGC to secure one kill.

As I said to someone, I'm tired but i was trying to mean have a killer get paused for x amount of seconds like 10 secs to let them escape and get a heal in or repair a gen.

Did you even read my comment? I explained why. A lot of the time camping and tunnelling will secure one kill while 3 escape. It’s crap.

Read his past comment so it makes sense what he is saying, the weakest link is the easiest so he uses that as easy pressure.
What if he is nowhere the hook and people rush the save and he only finds that one survivor again?

No. You have perks for that. Giving effects automatically without the usage of their specific perks will render those perks pointless.

I know but those are generally speaking the exception not the rule and nerfing ALL killer's ability to punish bad plays isn't going to fix that.
As I have seen those killers hit BT and continue to chase the BTed survivor on every hook.

If the survivor happens to be the one found first, then yeah that’s bad luck lol. I don’t think any killer should “avoid” hitting a survivor. If they’re there, hit them. Though personally I will usually punish the person who did the unsafe hook and leave the injured one alone, because I don’t like players who farm their teammates.
Perhaps I misunderstood. I meant in the case of actively seeking out one person & just waiting for them to get off the hook, you usually do poorly unless you have an overly altruistic team.

Yes, killer is basically all about predicting the survivor, downing them, and throwing them on hook. But people call tunneling bad cause you depip (almost every time) and it's kinda frustrating when u have someone who's just being a prick.
And it kinda was a idea.
I wasn't whining just wanted some OPINIONS if that'd work or not. Considering that tunneling and camping happen more frequently then people would expect.
Like you can get 6 out of 10 games where u get a facecamper and tunnels. In my opinion when u have to camp or tunnel you can't handle the skill level on a player who's against you. And most camping and tunneling usually comes from people who get to butthurt cause they get "Stunned by pallets, DSed, flashlighted, etc."

bt can be easily counter by ghostface , wraith , and any other killer which have undetectable status or perk...
and ds can be countered by red mori after first hook... don't mind ? ok...

No, no as I said i ain't thinking properly. I want there to be like a small effect when they get off. They get a burst of speed off the hook that way they can go off and get heals or do something to aid their team's escape. Dearest of apologies for me wording it incorrectly.

If you are getting "tunneld" it's either a camping killer which means struggle while your team does gens or until you get rescued with Borrowed Time or your team mate pulled you off at a bad time and the killer slugged an easy target (which it is his objective to kill you).
If you get tunneld a lot use anti-tunnel builds like DS/Unbreakable , DS/Soulguard, DeadHard/IronWill/QuickandQuiet. The 3rd build I use a lot but you have to be good at mind gaming to really utilize it.
Sometimes you just lose games that's how it is. Don't be salty if you get camped and ######### on hook. Be a team player and struggle until the end so the rest have some kind of chance.

What you're suggesting would be the same asking for base kit make your choice.
It would also encourage a lot of hook farming as you can get safe hooks without sacrificing a perk slot. This would make some rush hook as there is no punishment for bad saves

Anyways, it's stealth that prevents tunneling, not tankiness. You can't tunnel a Survivor if you don't know where they are. You CAN tunnel a Survivor that just took a hit.

If we were to give unhooked Survivors basekit endurance it should be no longer than 3 seconds. That's enough time to start running and nothing else.

But if u know how play your killer with excellent skill. U could down that person instantly like for say deathslinger.
The person unhooks the person and the person who got unhooked runs away but you use your rifle, stab the unhooker/ reel them in, get a hit off of them, start a chase and hopefully end it quickly. Then throw them on hook

tunneling is fallout from game mechanics that need to be re-worked. As the killer I go after the "easy prey" first. IF that means tunneling a survivor that is playing bad. So be it.
As the killer; I have very little time on the map the higher up in rank I go. The last thing Im going to worry about is hurting the feelings of some rando survivor. especially if I down the same one twice after an unhook. Maybe their team should have left them there a bit longer, until I got into another chase
