Warner Bros licensing
I’ve been wondering something for a while now. I’ve mentioned that I’d love for a Supernatural chapter to happen, but I’m curious as to whether they’d need to contact Warner Brothers or the CW network to get the rights? I’m not sure how that works.
More so, do you think it would be a difficult one to obtain?

Supernatural is produced by Warner Brothers, so maybe them???? Tbh I have no idea for that part. But they’ve gotten a lot of big name licenses so i don’t see why not

They'd have to contact the WB yeah. I think a licensed killer and the brothers as survivors from the show with say a Leviathan as the main killer would be a HUUUUUUGE deal in this game. Supernatural fans are pretty die hard. You could guarantee they pick up literally every single skin from both the killers and the two survivors. Like....it'd be as big as having Michael Myers in this game which is already freakin huge! The fan bases are enormous. Or as big as the stranger things chapter. Huge wins on the part of Behavior and Warner if they could pull that off. Big time!

Whoever actually makes the show. Though I think the CW is part of Warner. Though I don't think Supernatural would fit, mostly because David King is basically Dean without the hunter knowledge, and there wouldn't really be a good option for a killer or level, since they travel all over the US, and it's mostly monster of the week stuff, and the big bads would be too big. I really can't see the Entity convincing the Devil or Leviathan to be part of it's game.

I disagree. There’s tons of options. The killer could be the wendigo, leviathan, the scarecrow or anything else they faced.
The map could be the bunker, the wendigo underground caves, or even purgatory. Yes they’re all over the map in the show but that doesn’t make it impossible.
As for David, you’re saying every survivor has to be vastly different? They plan to carry on DBD for years, there are going to be similar personalities. Supernatural is huge, it would fit in pretty dang well.

My thoughts exactly! :) The show has been going for 15 years and has accumulated a huge fan-base. I personally know a lot of people (both online and irl) who would buy the game just for this chapter lol.
Considering the show is ending, it would be an awesome way to keep the memory alive too by bringing the characters to DBD.

damn I didn’t even think of that. purgatory would be cool. the bunker would be fun too, it would just have to be a more run down creepy version.

Yes! Fingers crossed. Considering previous work with voicing, I bet Jared & Jensen would be all in to voice their characters, which would be a bonus 👍

Considering Warner Bros owns DC and they’ve crossed their characters over into Fortnite multiple times (Harley, Batman) I don’t think it’s off the table. I think DBD would be able to get Supernatural pretty easily.

That is exactly right. If they added a supernatural chapter, I would p3 everyone, main them, and buy every single cosmetic possible

Oh definitely. It would bring in a lot of new people. I think it’s just a matter of time before it’s added in. I see no reason not to? They’ve been asked for a lot over the years, and they’d fit in real well.
