It's a joke because everybody wants to know what the next chapter or next rework or next upcoming mechanic or whatever and the devs always keep it a secret until just before they're ready to release the feature. That's all it is.

I'm just pointing out that they literally gave up what the killer is on Anniversary poster (weeks before official reveal). What stops them from doing that again? Once again, it could be just a coincidence, yet there is still a possibility.

[REDACTED] is an extremely common thing out in the world. It's not SCP related at all, not unique to SCP, not created by SCP, not suggestive of SCP to anyone.

Well if it was an SCP hint it would have said (DATA REDACTED), the Pyramid Head hint was from how they positioned the 4, as Pyramid’s head could easily be shaped as a 4

So after googling scp, i find the theory very interesting. Maybe not as a chapter but as observations logs. No reason the entity wouldn't be known to that organization.

There is always a "possibility" that's a word that literally everybody uses in hopes that they will get whatever it is they're asking for. "Possibility" is an extremely low bar to clear I hope you know that.
And the devs don't ever tease or drop any info about the upcoming chapter this early, the dev quotes that we've seen in the loading screens have already been there for almost 2 weeks so make that even earlier. We haven't even seen the mid-chapter patch yet (I think the PTB drops tomorrow), which is a huge red flag that any info we get about the upcoming chapter likely isn't actually official or intended, it's the community heavily speculating.

The redacted thing is far too common to be hinting at SCP. The number 4 for the anniversary however, was clearly stylized in a such a way that it was basically meant to be a hint and I was among the group that felt like it meant more than just being the number 4. Had the number 4 looked just like any regular 4 then it could have easily been shrugged off as nothing, just like this SCP thing.
