Who else feels it’s unfair that in order to pip you have to do a handful of stuff and if you don’t do that you don’t pip, also it sucks when you depip because you get one hooked face camped etc, I feel the whole depip should just be removed and rank reset should occur more frequently

Let's be honest.... The emblem system needs a rework as it can punish good play, and reward bad play at the same time....
I've depipped in games where I have 20K BP at the end. Doesn't happen often but it still happens.

It certainly shows how much you accomplished in the game. Wouldn't you agree? Or do you think BP awards don't go up as you do more objectives, cleanse totems and escape chases?

Again - 20k bloodpoints doesn't mean you had a good game. You can get that by destroying totems and dive bombing hooks, while not doing a single generator. You can do it by camping pallets and dropping them on the killer. You can do it by just repairing one generator and making it take longer by intentionally failing skillchecks.
Bloodpoints earned and how well you played have ZERO correlation. Someone with 10-15 BP could have, in theory and in practice, been a better team mate than someone with 20k BP.

It's part of the game. You're a survivor, pipping is a participation trophy (even the devs have stated this outright).

Fair is irrelevant. The devs state camping is a legitimate play style. You CAN get saved. Nothing is stopping you from getting saved. There are perks to facilitate this. DS, borrowed time, deliverance etc.
But, the original point still stands - the devs say camping is a legit play style. So yes - it's fair.
Do you think it's fair that generators go so fast that 2 can be done by the time a 110 movement speed killer gets across a map like Mother's Dwelling?
Do you think it's fair that a killer can depip SIMPLY BECAUSE A SURVIVOR DISCONNECTS from the game or kills themselves on hook? Oh yes, survivor. Let's talk about FAIR. I will BURY you in a conversation about fair when it comes to pipping.

It feels like you're missing my point.... I never said BP had any correlation between how well you played. I said it represents what you actually did in the game. Putting aside players who hook bomb and farm and "gifted" people who intentionally miss skillchecks, BP directly correlates with what you've done in a match.
What I'm saying is I've done well in matches and depipped, and I've done bad in matches and pipped for it. I said in my first post that the emblem system doesn't always work, if you would read it. The emblem system determines your BP gain at the end as well as whether you pip or not. We're talking about pips and depips, not how well people play....

In any case - the same applies for killer. Just because you got a ton of bloodpoints doesn't mean you played well; and pipping isn't hard. It's only hard if you don't understand how the emblems work. Are they out of whack and lacking sense? Of course - but they are also easy to figure out. This is why the majority of the community knows ranks are meaningless.

I fully understand what you're saying - but what you're saying makes no sense. You're insinuating that somehow, pipping is hard.
We've known the emblem system is garbo since it came out. They've never been able to get it right; that doesn't mean it's difficult.

Not really, you brought up perks that only work in a situation, just because you’re bad at killer don’t come crying to me, DS-If you’re tunneling & camping you could just leave them on the ground and just stand over them for a minute, BT- doesn’t matter if you pull the survivor who has it off the other at the right time or if you have insidious then it doesn’t work, Deliverance-only works when you SAFELY unhook a survivor if you’re the first hooked the perk has no purpose anymore and if you’re a camper/ tunneler, then no one will get the perk activated for how you are, and I made two people dc as plague and killed two people and guess what I pipped, no gens got done it was the easiest game I had, and I can still pip from survivors one hooking themselves you just gotta apply more pressure to the other survivors, also if you’re that bad at killer maybe consider NOED Corrupt Intervention and it Ruin, from what I’ve read it seems like you need it also if you’re that worried about 4 gens getting done then you’ve already lost sorry man

Perks that directly counter what you complained about, and are META perks that a greater majority of survivors use.
You don't get to criticize anyone else's skill when you're complaining about depipping - as survivor. Ironic that you say "I'm crying to you", when you're the one who made the thread...crying about survivor pips. You're also falsely insinuating that camping is a play style a majority of killers adopt - and it most certainly is not. No killer is ranking up from camping. The emblem and ranking system actively punishes for it. If they rank up due to camping, the SURVIVORS allowed it to happen. This is a HUGE tell that you're probably a newbie sitting at like 50 hours in game and barely into green ranks as survivor. Just by everything you're saying "I pipped with one hooking everyone" - you're still in green/yellow/brown ranks. Get some experience, get to ranks where you actually can't pip while one-hooking everyone, and then you're allowed to make assumptions about the role.

Survivor ranks matter When you play solo which is how I play 80% of the time I play survivor and what you rely on are random Survivors and the rare chance you encounter a good survive with friends, honestly I pipped once out of the whole 3 hours I’ve just played, and I’ve been getting chased, doing gens, saving survivors and escaping and guess what no pip just black pip which I said okay fine, maybe I just gotta do more and then a couple games ya know get face camped, Teammates don’t save and I depip because I wasn’t allowed to participate even though if I had been saved or didn’t get face camped I would have, seems a little unfair too depip when things are out of your control

Survivor ranks do not matter. If they did, you wouldn't have a bunch of pepega survivors on your team when playing solo. Which is one of the BIGGEST issues in the game right now, and why solo survivor is the most pain in the ass mode in the game.
If survivor ranks mattered, you wouldn't see red ranks flooded with people with <50 hours in the game. It's not only been stated by the devs (KEKW), but even before that it was WIDELY known, by VETERANS of the community, that ALL RANKS in the game are absolutely meaningless. Rank doesn't mean skill. Rank means playtime.

Or just like fix ranking system, have you ever played killer and be in purple ranks and get that one purple ranked survivor that has two red rank survive with friends I just find that hilarious when they think they can escape or you know try to be toxic

I just de pipped because of stupid matchmaking again. I am currently rank 2 survivor... my teammates were 20,20,14. We were against a rank 1 killer 😑

It would be - but the issue is, it is IMPOSSIBLE to decipher who is skilled and who isn't with an AI, in a game like Dead by Daylight. So it can't happen.

The issue is - survivor ranking is so easy (killer too, to an extent, and this has been proven, it's not an opinion piece) that you can go from rank 20 to red ranks within a couple days of getting the game.

You dont need to pip. You need to farm unhooks. Only make sure you have BT, to keep your bp. Health & safety of your bp is important.
If you max out unhooks, then you can tap a gen.

The difference I see is rank 20s miss skill checks and unhook without borrowed time while they are in a chase. Bad red ranks maybe are not great in chases but hit their skill checks and do safer unhooks. That’s just my opinion. I don’t know how many hours devotion 3 equates to but that’s where I’m at.
