What do you guys think about Springtrap for the new chapter? Someone else?
I see a lot of people asking for Springtrap, and with all the "big name" licenses the DbD team has been shooting for, I think it'd be a pretty solid money move. Five Nights at Freddy's is a real big license that a lot of people know about.
I don't think it's a bad idea, but at the same time I have a tough time seeing how he could be executed well, seems difficult.
You guys think they'd add a survivor alongside Springtrap too? Or make him singular like Ghostface?
I know none of us are psychic, and we'll have to see what happens, but what are your thoughts?
To be honest, I think while it might be a difficult task to try and plot out his chapter if they did it, Springtrap is certainly one of the more interesting candidates. Who were you guys thinking on for a new killer?

I have not ever heard of fnaf before people started spamming threads about it here. I decided to watch some gameplay videos about it and the game looks like #########. The game isn't for me. And Springtrap looks so dumb I would not want him added to game.

Yeah, that was my gripe, it would just look so out of place in my opinion. They'd have to do it right.

I prefer them not doing it at all but some people like it and it is impossible to please everyone.

To be fair, I'm surprised we haven't gotten like, Predator or a Xenomorph yet. Slenderman seems like a pretty good idea that I've seen a lot of dudes throwing around, you could add Proxy skins for the Legion too. What did you think they should add?

I would love Springtrap being added and don't see what y'all mean with "he wouldn't fit in" like if the Legion Robbie the Rabbit skins fit, so does Springtrap who is way spookier.

And I'd like to add that the fact that FNaF is a jumpscares game has nothing to do with the gameplay that Springtrap should have (although some sort of jumpscare could be implemented, a friend of my brother had some nice ideas as to how to make it work but I forgot lol) because the way the killers behave in the game doesn't always mirror the way they behave in their original franchises. Pyramid Head is a great example of this for obvious reasons, the Demogorgon portals in DbD work in a different way than they do in the series, Myers only targets people related to Laurie & etc in the movies, etc.
My point here is that people say that jumpscares and DbD aren't compatible but 1. jumpscares aren't strictly necessary if they decide to add Springtrap 2. tell that to stealthy killers (specially ninja Myers) and Hag traps lol 3. it could probably work, if implemented properly.
Also! One of the devs has expressed her interest in adding Springtrap to DbD. I don't have the source at hand but if you look around in other Springtrap-related posts in these forums (there are a lot of them) you will find it. Of course that doesn't mean he will be added but there's at least one person in the dev team considering the possibility.

I think the same , i think FNAF is just a bit dumb and i honestly just wish for something like a xenomorph
