And yet the entire front page is nothing but complaints about Billy not being leagues above most other m1 killers anymore.

Well people have their opinion. Told everyone to wait till they try it out,and now they have.
I probably won't ever get to try this new Billy so I probably won't put my word out there about if I like it or not based off videos that will come out.

Yay, my boy LF needed it.
I play as him because his powers are fun, not because he's good. Having his powers be fun AND be good will be a nice change of pace.
I'm excited to see what he looks like once all is said and done.

Because Billy was fine. Bubba is not, and we don't even know if this is a buff. I mean it's a blow to his only power which is camping, so perhaps it's also a nerf.

If they complain so much of revving hillbilly they could add the bar like the more u revv the chainsaw the faster it overheat and problem solved but now they lame hillbilly.

Cause people have been asking for a LF rework since forever, same as Clown.
So he got what he rightfully deserved, after years.
No one is complain about Billy. Hence there was no reason to mess around with his kit.

It's definitely more useful in the open, but without charge reduction add-ons, things like chainsawing window vaults is exponentially more difficult.

If by bias you mean people were enjoying playing billy and now insted of power he has a cooldown making him far less fun to use.
LF would be praised by everyone if they didn't mess with killer that comunity generally considered fine without addons just like old nurse was. People don't want history to repeat itself so they're beiing loud to make devs realise they overdid these changes.

I dunno bout that. Since you dont have to be right up on them to land a chainsaw (without PWYF stacks), you can start that saw up ALOT sooner. His base power is HUGELY buffed by this change. I swapped off PWYF+nemesis and still feel like a complete powerhouse with him as long as I have my chainsaw charges. This isnt even factoring in addons. I slapped on 2 brown addons my last game and if it hadnt been for an unbreakable wouldve ended the game with 4 slugs within 2 minutes.

lmao right. Watching Tru's stream, at one point he was literally chainsawing for over 1 minute, downing 3 players. That was using both red addons. Part of me thinks this isn't intentional.

Leatherface only seems really strong with both of his pink addons. I'm sure they they will be adjusted, otherwise he seems fairly alright.

I'll be fully honest I think he'll be worse than old Bubba. He will still struggle at windows and PWYF is used with every additional charge. I don't want to say too much more till I see more but I'm not looking forward to this.

See you say this.....but the killer mains here are losing their minds that he lost his charge time add ons.
Nobody used Billy without add ons. Nobody.
Also survivors were having fun combo-ing old mettle of man into instaheal but ya know, some things just need to go for the greater good.

I actually took PWYF off of him to try it out. His chainsaw is pretty solid atm without even using addons. If your at a basic palletloop, the survivor HAS to throw it immediately otherwise 3 tokens is enough circle around and saw them down to saw them down. His speed while sawing and how long he swings it for often times will let you get a chainsaw hit in faster than you can get an M1.

No but what I mean is they have fixed his camping and his chainsaw cuck. Though I feel like he has improved at all in chases. Windows still are his weakness and tantrum is still extremely bad.

We'll see. I personally think they want you to use his chainsaw like pigs ambush which for me isn't the best way to play him. I haven't played him yet but when I can I'll see how it feels to me.

The saw is similar to the dash at loops, with the major difference being you travel more distance with the saw so theres really no need to mindgame simple pallet loops. Just run in a circle and they either feed you a pallet to instantly destroy with the saw, or get sawed down. The ONLY grievances I have with him atm is you have to time your button presses to keep using tokens on a single sprint instead of just holding the button, and the saw continues to heat up when its revving down. If you charge it up, then change your mind to wanna put it away...its really easy to accidentally start a tantrum and lose all your tokens.

We'll see how it turns out. I could play him and absolutely love him but I don't know. Just doesn't feel right to me.
I just imagine if a survivor is running to a window would I rather the new Bubba or the old Bubba with PWYF. Hopefully I'm wrong since Bubba is my main.

Still the new. Like I said before, the saw is fast enough that often times you can get a saw faster than you can get an M1. If your ever in a situation where old Bubba with PWYF could land a saw on someone, chances are new Bubba can do it WITHOUT PWYF.

Thats because it IS. Its increased from 5.06m/s to 5.29m/s. On top of that, using all 3 tokens will have you running for quite abit longer than what we currently have on live.

I tried swappin off nemesis+pwyf for monitor+infectious fright. His chase potential is pretty nutty, but Imma hold off on claiming he's better than various top tier killers while only using his brown addons because I know it would just start a ######### storm, lol.

Yeah cause they took away all the skkll-based play Hillbilly had with what they called a minor nerf. Hillbilly's change wasn't supposed to be the highlight of this patch, but it's going to be just because of how debilitating the Overheat mechanic is to him currently. I also wouldn't call Bubba's buff huge so soon. It looks really promising, but this game has a habit of things not actually panning out to be as effective as people thought.

Just saw a video of Bubba going chainsaw mode for a full minute and then some.
He'll get tuned down, i'm sure of it

That was when using a specific perk combo. The PTB version is even better. My first game I kept my normal loadout but never actually got around to collecting PWYF stacks because of how much more freely you use his saw. You're REALLY free to cut loose on it way more.

Quite abit.
This was about a month and a half ago. Bubba is one of the killers that I cycle through quite often and one of the ones I already have every perk unlocked for.
