why are the devs ignoring people
they litteraly closed every thread saying they overdid the billy nerf this is generally hilarious i thougth it was stupid for peoppel asking for refunds but everyone just inoccently disscusing the billy nerf they just use noed and a mori on there thread goodbye there thread

My guess is there was something more than just "constructive criticism."
And asking for a refund on a live game that you've owned for 4 years or so is insane.

Just to clarify, if you see a thread that says "closed" in general discussions it wasn't actually closed, it was moved to the PTB subforum. They haven't deleted any threads they are all still there in a different subforum.

Well they weren't even closed they were moved.
Theres a 4.1.0 PTB Feedback section of the forums. Just checked and yep they're there.

How about reverting the changes except his add-ons, and nerfing no one.. What's wrong with viable killers? I understand there are still some new players, but guess what? We were ALL NEW PLAYERS AT ONE POINT. We all dealt with super nurse and spirit, we all learned how to counter them and still play decent matches. Why are they handicapping the game so much for survivor now?

i don't know where people keep getting this idea from. if the devs closed every discussion about why their game sucks because of one change half the forum would be deleted.
those posts weren't deleted, they were moved to the appropriate place so that the people who are working on the Billy changes can actually see it, and not have to skim through 400 threads about NOED and DS to find what they actually are working on at the moment.

story time sorta about being camped: i was being insidoius camped in the basment (second time today after my first time abrought deliverance incase i got camped again) i was in the basemant what happend was used my deliverance killer picked me up i had ds ran out basment hatch was in shack with basement i used my key which i found that match and escaped me and the other survivor still alive both got out the other survivor got out the exit because the hatch was rly far from exit when bubba closed it
also btw iam not trying to be toxic in this thread if it sounds like it iam half joking thats why i changed the title becasue the orignal title sound really toxic so i jsut switched it to this

So true. Commenters would rather get attention from other commenters by posting in General Discussions than try to make sure the devs actually read what they wrote by posting in the proper sections, and then they get mad at the mods for trying to make sure the devs actually read what they wrote.

It's possible they don't ignore all comments. Indeed, changes were made based on feedback (adjustments to The Executioner's perks as one recent example).
However, there may be others they do ignore. Primarily, this may be due to the simple lack of politeness those particular posts exhibit. If somebody were to rudely criticize something you did, you're less likely to give a crap about them than someone who offers a reasoned, unemotional and respectful argument. Indeed, those rude posters are perhaps the very ones they consider toxic and actually want to get rid of!
Some posts - and I'd like to think they're the minority - are from people with a lack of social skills and illogically blunt arguments, or those who just are so blindly entitled they really think the game should revolve around them alone. That toxicity is the type of crap that they could do without.

Billy is still my main killer. Seriously, use the Chainsaw situationally. It isn't weak if you time it right. You also can release it quickly for a short attack. His cattle hammer is still amazing also. I've used the Chainsaw situationally and it is still a good attack. Cornered survivors at a dead end ? Yep. A survivor trying to open the escape door ? Yep. To scare a survivor away that was trying to revive a fallen teammate ? Yep.

Was this necessary ? Did I ever say that I was an amazing killer ? I said that the Chainsaw still has use, it isn't useless.
1. A survivor can panic and end up in a dead end. There are some in Meat Factory and Elementary School
2. It takes time to open the escape door and a good chainsaw hit can down them, which is what I did. Throughout the match, Ace was a good player and was very good at hiding. I had no perks activated cause I wanted to do a vanilla match. I took out his team and he was the last left. Rather than hit him with the hammer, which would have injured him. I chainsawed him and incapped him. Since it was end game since he was opening the door, I got a late sacrifice and no struggle for him. It was a good play. Maybe don't quote people and act high and mighty.

Well it might be that they want to keep the billy "discourse" over in the ptb feedback category but I wouldnt put it past the devs to see a couple mean comments and just shut down a whole thread of legit criticism.
