This is just stupid. I can't try a new killer without depiping, is there ANY way to try a killer without depiping ?

    No. Honestly though I wouldnt worry about the pips. Look at it this way, if you derank a bunch youll have fun slaughtering your way back up. Its good practice too and youll come to appreciate the tough games more. Im speaking from experience lol

    I just started using Oni (had my 5th match or so yesterday) so I feel your pain.

    I'm starting to get the hang of it but Red Rank 1 opponents with a new killer I'm not familiar with has equaled a lot of sadness for me. I'm slowly figuring it out and getting better. That Game 5 was the first game I snowballed a game proper and holy hell was it satisfying after a few games of 0 kills :D

    So yeah, all you can do is lie back and think of England for a bit until you can figure out your shiny new toy

    This is something the devs acknowledged and I think they said the new MMR based matchmaking will take every killer separate. Not sure if that was definitely confirmed or just something they said might come..

    I don't remember them saying they would be paired together but I do remember they said they were thinking about such a feature.

    Honestly it's needed and can be done. Take the best killer rank you're at, every other killer will be 10 ranks behind it. Boom. Now you've accounted for their play experience but also give them appropriate noob status with something they're noob at.

    Ranks and Pips literally don't matter in this game. In fact if you keep depipping, that's good because it means you can have an easier time learning the new Killer on people who are also learning with you and hopefully won't be as toxic.

    just play the new killer(s). You can't expect to win every game with a killer you haven't even tried. The "but my pips" argument is ridiculous. Being rank 1 is not prestigious and does not mean you're any good. The only thing it does mean is that you play the game a few hours every month.

    I had a rank 2 survivor last night trying to escape with active trap on. I just stared him from a distance opening the door and waiting for his head to pop. And I'm not good at this game but still I'm red on both sides.

    Nope. I've been trying out legion at purple rank. I've got him up to level 22 now... Lmao. I get deeeestroyyyyed. Would be nice if the BW wasn't so greedy w good perks. It just gives me the ######### ones no one uses... My best perk is pop on level 1...ugh
