Why I don't think Springtrap would be a good addition in dbd

Some people don't see FNaF as "little kid stuff", and those (more often than not) are the people who want FNaF in DbD.
And as you said, it's okay for anyone to request whatever chapter they want, and nobody should be looked down on for what they like.
