Endgame collapse bug?

I was in a normal match against a freddy and my teammate escaped using the hatch at 1 gen, kinda rude. However, when the freddy kicked the hatch closed and the endgame collapse started, it instantly ended. I died to the weird ground entity thing as if i took the full 2 minutes when in reality it just started. Has this happened to anybody else and anybody know why?

This seems more like the new hack that is out currently, survivors can finish all gens instantly and cause the egc timer to drop to 0. You can see it in tru3talents videos.
