Escape the trial or finish the trial (survivor/killer) to gain an exclusive head cosmetic for that character. Original characters only.

What does finishing the trial as killer mean? Not disconnecting?

pretty much, Dcing doesn't earn you anything to begin with so I doubt they'd make a exception for the crown

Original killers? Like trapper, wraith, billy and nurse? Or non licensed?

Original as in unlicensed, not "Original" as in "the first". If it was the "Original" Killers (First) the Nurse wouldn't be one, since she was released with Nea in the first DLC.

I'm actually not sure if this is how it works now because I've seen some times there's one or two at the start, but I've definitely ran around the map, not seen one, gone back around and there is one in a place I checked before, they're either on a timer or based on gens or something.

I know there's at least 2. I found one and then a Survivor found one but no Gens were done. They can be found on pedestals scattered across the map. I've only ever seen one on my search. You get it on un-licensed Killers. I got it on Billy but not on Freddy.

i was playing a match and saw a crown in one place, i tried bringing a survivor to it, but it wasnt there anymore. i found it in a different place later, and again in a different spot later. no one had the glow, so, i think it changes places based on time?

They appear and disappear rabdomoy on the map, the most I've seen in one game is 3 though.

I dont think thats BHVR fault, probably legal stuff prevents them from releasing free cosmetics for licensed characters.

I got one for trapper. I just partolled the map until I found one. Yeah I threw the match but at least it's easier than survivor.

I think I figured out how it works. A pedestal spawns for a certain amount of time. If a player gets to it or if the timer runs out, it despawns and another one appears elsewhere on the map.

It will spawn at the beginning of the trial and move around each time someone either takes it (by approaching the crown and pressing the key(s) or button(s) corresponding to the pick-up action on your system) or if some amount of time has passed and no one has found it. Every time it is picked up by a player (survivor or killer) a new crown will spawn in a new area of the map. I believe only one crown spawns at a time (from what I can tell) and if you pick it up, your character will glow/sparkle like little fireflies or sparks are flying around your body). It seems to be in Jigsaw boxes,Chest and cage spawns as far as I can tell.

You have to collect one from a stand. It’ll give you a glow in game, and then the crown will be in your inventory.

I've been going in expecting to throw and spend all game looking for the crown. Usually though I find it fairly early and then play regularly unless they are trying to farm, which doesn't usually happen. By the time I've found one though usually a gen or 2 is gone :(

I just wish they'd make it a little more obvious to find. I spent an entire match searching as Killer on Dead Dawg Saloon, and when I finally found it, it just teleported away.

OKay - Aces - thanks for info - how do oyu know when youve unlocked it and can someone show me which menu you look to equip it - as I did it with Tapp and survived but have not found the cosmetic

I played Legion yesterday and just threw until I found one. When I did find one there were only 2 gens left, and I still got a 4k
