Dead Harding for Distance
Whenever I see people complaining about DH, it’s always the same complaint that using DH for distance is unfair because it has no counter. My question for these people is why do they not complain about SB then too? Sprint burst is an exhaust perk that requires zero skill to use and essentially can’t be countered aswell as it always gives the survivor a head start in a chase. So why do I only see DH get hate and not SB?

As a killer main, I have no big issue with DH. Yeah, I think using it for distance goes against the design.
Sprint Burst is the bane of my existance. Its such a braindead perk. Even with DS you have to at least hit a skill check.

Ever been fishing? What pisses you off more, a fish stealing your bait, or getting the little sucker reeled all the way in, just for him to escape the hook?
Sprint burst is fine, you can ignore them or out zone them.

I thought Dead Hard was kind of weak as a Survivor player.
But the longer I player Killer and saw the BS you can pull with it at loops to be greedy. The more I realized it was super strong. Basically, I learned that Dead Hard was the strongest perk in the game by having strong Survivors teach me time and time again all of its potential

Sprint burst requires you to crouch walk everywhere if you want use. I think both perks are fine though.

Dead hard, the perk where if you make a mistake or get outplayed you can immediately erase it!

forget DH, lets talk about head on having no counter. Even if you know theyre in the locker, theres no way to avoid the stun if the perk is active.

Sprint burst doesnt give you immunity frames.

It actually does in a way. You can completely be unaffected by a Billy saw if you sprint burst the moment before he runs into you. It's not i-frames, it's just auto-aim being horrific like always.

I mean true but you can still hit people sprint bursting unlike people dead harding

Exactly, it's so dumb, you didn't throw the pallet when you had to and now the killer is in your ass? No problem! Touch a button to get to the pallet and extend the chase!

Personally I love DH, I’ve played against it almost every game today and almost every one of them mistimed it, or dh into a wall, or just used it in the middle of nowhere and I caught up to them a few seconds later. Sprint burst often makes me look for another target unless I’m on a high mobility killer.
The best use of it so far was the guy who DH through my chainsaw at the hook. I would have had them both but the DH straight through to a pallet and got away it’s was a good play.
