tbh I find it kind of annoying that he almost only plays with the same perks every time he picks Bubba
I wouldn't be surprised if they were nerfed after PTB, but a guy with thousands of hours running the best loadout on Bubba is definitely going to win a lot of matches. I'm also thinking about his "Proving Leatherface is underrated" series when I say this because I don't feel like it proves much if anything, but that's another discussion

I mean, if you have a spike mentality where you want to win, it only makes sense to use the best load-out whenever you can, no?

His "proving Leatherface is underrated" is the same as "proving Wraith is underrated", just him trying to be controversial to stroke his own ego some more.
And to be quite honest, for a guy with thousands of hours he is quite average. Makes tons of mistakes and does not know how to use killers' powers efficiently like, say, Umbra or OhTofu or Otz or.........

I agree. He's a good Killer player so his "Leatherface is Underrated" video doesn't prove anything in my eyes. Like I said before, its like if Otz played Clown and said he is underrated because he was able to win with insert perks here. It wouldn't prove anything either because he is a good Killer player.
The thing is, Otz doesn't do that.

I think it means something when he won consistently with Ghostface, Wraith, and now Cannibal. Scott Jund has an eight hour video of him 4king fifty times straight with Oni as well (that I highly recommend). It’s not just true.
Its good content.
My criticism of true is he really only has one style of gameplay he leans on and doesn’t incorporate other perks he doesn’t normally use on his own when other people give him builds. He usually wins anyways because he’s very good at the game whether people want to admit it.

I mean, the way I see it gamers play killers and casuals play survivors. Gamers want challenging task and characters with steep learning curve and depth that takes too much effort and time to master, casuals just want to hold M1 and "loop" the killer for 40-60 seconds and letting their crutch perks play for them.
So who would want the game balanced, the gamers or the casuals?
Quite harsh haha. But then again he does "diss" OhTofu and other streamers quite often..
The guy makes so much "clickbait" YouTube videos and some people talk so highly about him, but once I actually went to his stream and watched his gameplay I was legit shocked, he might be at my level or even worse.
I am new to "streaming" (hell, I started DbD on Halloween 2019) so am not quite sure how he got his 2-3k views to be honest, anyone knows?

With that said, I do agree with a few points in the post. I like Tru3, watching him helped me early on learn tile sets, but I do disagree with his 'underrated' series, at least with Wraith and Bubba. You can't put on the best build, with the best addons, against survivors who can't connect two and two, and claim that killer is underrated. That's just a really good build played skillfully.

Again, we should not balance around high level play. Tru3talent has been playing DBD since launch (if not before) and he will obviously be getting better results than the average player.

The Nurse is balanced toward the highest level of play. However she's unplayable by 95% of players. And that is the reason you don't balance around high levels of play.
You balance around casual play and use high level play to squash play that can be exploited by highly skilled players. Otherwise, no one would be able to play the game because the skill cap is to high.
