Why Would The Devs Nerf The Funnest Killer To Play As and Against

As a Billy main im still totally confused why Billy's basekit was changed. I do agree his insta saw addons were too strong but why would they change his basekit. Personally all I think they needed to do was give him ultra rare addons and make his charge time addons not stack

I mostly play survivor and when I get a Billy I always know it will be a fun match, as billy is a very strong killer but is easily countered by loops and survivors don't fell hopeless against him unlike spirit or a top tier nurse.

I really hope the Devs come to the decision to revert the cooldown system before the changes hit live servers

    They thought it wouldn't be fair if RBT's were activated in end game and survivors had to run around jigsaw boxes to take traps off their head with the EGC going.

    Whilst i agree he is damn fun to play, i heartily disagree with him being fun to play against. He was also very damn effective in both the hands average players, and in the hands of amazing players. Those amazing players could curve you in so many loops it was very disheartening, and the average person could still leverage him as a standard 4.6m killer who can sometimes just get instant downs

    Compared to the most fun killers to face, billy is certainly a lot less fun. Did he deserve the nerfs he got? Imo yeah but i can see why people would disagree.

    I hated going against Billy when I did survivor things so no he is not fun to play against.

    While i agree that his nerfs were overkill im happy i wont see too many billies around, he is one of the ones i hated the most.

    I don't see why everyone is hating on him I found Billy to be one of the most fun to verse. It's gonna be sad that I likely won't verse him anymore.
