No one likes david
The devs described david as an ######### in a stream once so it makes me wonder what other survivors think of him his perks show he wants to help but maybe he just comes off as a little too aggressive. Do you guys have any head canons about this i like to think he wants to help but he comes of as aggressive making survivors a bit annoyed or scared of him.

I think he comes off like a brute person with a heart of gold.
He might be unable to express his helpfulness without sounding aggressive.

WGLF says that David cherishes and protects the few friends he has left. I imagine he had a rough start when he first arrived but now he is probably one of the most loyal and protective.

There is only one current Survivor that most likely isn't like by the others because of the way they act in the trials. That's Feng Min.
Every other survivor has been shown to be helpful or at least kind to others. Whether it be because they genuinely care about people. The example of these guys are David, Kate or Jane or if it's because the others survival benefits them in long-run for example people like Dwight

David is honestly such an interesting character. He has this super aggressive nature and a dark past that makes him very intimidating to others, but underneath that all he’s still a person who wants friends and companions and is willing to do his best to help them. He’s someone that would be hard to like at first, if at all, but once you get close to him he would be a super loyal friend and someone who would always have your back.

Oh no, Min is an probably will always be my favourite character in the game from both a design and a lore standpoint.
However my biased towards the character aside I can at least understand up from a lore perspective why the other survivors wouldn't like her very much.
"A young woman surprised me the other day. She is another guest in this nightmare I can not seem to wake up from. She came running, passed by a wounded girl and didn’t stop. Just a glance behind her, and she was off again. With a determined look on her face, like she had something important to do. A lone wolf maybe? I am not sure what I should call this new person"
This is the journal entry about Min.
From reading it you could tell that in that scenario she's not in any danger, she's not being chased or attacked hell she doesn't even stop to analyse if the situation is dangerous. She just values her own safety and her own goals over that of other's well-being. Lone wolf Style.

I mean she’s just throwing shade at the wounded girl. I mean she could of copied her style. Feng doesn’t allow that to happen.

I feel like when trials first started & David was introduced around the campfire people found his additude, & remarks somewhat hostile, but I think as time went on David became the most altruistic survivor constantly saving survivors from a death by hook, or even dying just to give someone a chance, & I think that when other survivors see David in a trial they feel a sense of hope. [[Possibly why the Entity wanted him in the first place.]]
