Dead by Daylight in 2030 /s
I've done years of analysis on DbD's balancing patterns to come up a realistic vision for how the game will look in 2030. Be careful, you may not like it, but this is what we can expect a typical DbD match to look like in 10 years:
Survivor Gameplay
You spawn in the match and see a generator. You start to run towards it, but shortly after, you have to stop running since your "running cooldown bar" is full, and now, you must wait for it to recharge. You eventually arrive at the generator, so you start repairing it, but after 20 seconds of repairing, you are forced off it. You must wait for your "generator repair cooldown bar" to recharge. Additionally, "new depth" was needed to keep chases fresh, so now pallet dropping and window vaulting have an "overheat" mechanic.
Killer Gameplay
Actions such as breathing as the killer were too easy for new players to pick up, so a new cooldown bar was added to prevent you from misusing your lungs. Upon spawning into the match, your "air" cooldown bar will begin to diminish. If it depletes all of the way, you instantly forfeit the trial and die a painful death. Clown bypasses this mechanic since he barely breathes with how much he coughs anyway.

Very optimistic of you to think that the devs would even let killers breath at all!
I mean look at the current game there's already next to no breathing room for the killers to begin with!

DBD Forever: "Killers still Camping/Tunneling and complaining about DS"
- Both were taken out of the game years ago, but people still keep the complaint alive. -

I do wish it would last another 10 years but all it takes is for a fresh new game to take its place that a lot of people enjoy. Gamers, including myself, can be fickle. We enjoy playing a game, something better comes along and we spend less time on the older game until it comes to a stop completely.
Either that or the devs will grow tired of doing the same thing over and over again, no matter how much money it is bringing in, and try something new. I wonder, if Deathgarden was more successful than DbD, would this game last another year.
The bigger problems though are the bugs that keep appearing, or take too long to be fixed, and the balancing issues that we have faced since DbD began will wear us down to the point that the players will, one by one, close the game never to play it again.

You missed "0 new players, because people come in and see 4-6 default characters on either side, and 45 locked characters they have to pay for or grind MONTHS for."

Judging by how the game is at an all time high playerbase since the last couple of months, I can see this game still being alive in 2030. Even if it is only for the rank20 players. At that rank most of the problems this game has are not nearly as apparent, like bugs, geneeratorspeed, OP addons, keys, moris, SWF, etc.
