Well, they are going in the right direction. They added soul guard, which can work very well with the small pp build making it very small.

How you're supposed to use DS: To extend a chase when you have recently been unhooked.
How I use DS: Basic immunity to save other survivors, perform objectives, secure escapes, and have immunity while I free rain to distract the Killer.

I think what they should do instead is this:
When survivors are rescued off the hook, they are affected by the FEAR status for 60 seconds.
Survivors affected by the FEAR status repair gens at 50% speed. They also get a 7% haste status effect.
This encourages killers not to tunnel (The survivor coming off the hook isn't as efficient working on generators as the survivor who did the unhooking, and is faster too), as well as doesn't reward survivors as much working on gens coming straight off the hook with DS. (If they work 60 seconds on a gen, it's more like they worked 30 seconds on a generator, thereby killers lose less time. So instead of completing 75% of a generator, they complete only 37.5% of a generator.

The tactical SWF I went up against two nights ago. It was. . . painful, to say the least.
The perks by themselves are problematic, but can be worked around. The issue is that most survivors will run the same perks. Yet devs have an issue with killer's perks synergizing. . .

Its what killer mains gave been complaining about. There is an easy way to get past this combo, just eat the DS. If you want to go after that same survivor within 60 seconds you may have to eat the DS and hit the survivor ONE extra time. Its not going to lose you the game. I would like to see Scott's kill percentage and then we would know how bad this combo truly is. I'm guessing he is probably still killing 75% or more of the survivors he faces even with this 'game losing' combo. DS and Unbreakable exist to stop killer's from playing the game a certain toxic way. They are there to discourage that type of game play. See how long the survivor base holds up if games all became tunneling slug fests.

So what about if they're not being tunneled? Does it go away after they heal? Because really the gen slow doesn't fix anything and the perk is still abusable. And even if used in the intended way, they're punished for using the perk and are still invincible for a minute. Meaning they can't really do a lot in that time frame except for gens or maybe help a teammate.

The Problem with that statement is they are rarely used to deter tunneling they are used as Scott described in the video.

Overrated. Yes they synergize very well but theres sooooo many other perks and combos that are better

Honestly i dont even care about this combo. Its when the whole team is running it that its an issue for me.
