What DbD-Related Product Would You Like To See?
Imagine this: Every license holder tells the developers that they'd like to make a movie with DbD (HALLOWEEN, SAW, etc.), or 1 or multiple episodes for their series (Stranger Things), or a new game or an addition to their game(s). (Left 4 Dead, Silent Hill)
(No, this is not about whether the product would be great or would suck.)
(Also, this is not about how likely this is to happen, cause that's a -9001% chance.)
The question is: What would you like to see the most?
- Would you perhaps like to experience DbD as a new movie with Frederick still hunting characters down?
- Or maybe you'd like to experience DbD as a new episode or multiple episodes in Stranger Things?
- Or would you perhaps like to somehow experience DbD as a new Silent Hill game?
I actually like the thought of a DbD-themed SAW movie, or at least if it'd be in somewhat the same style as the first SAW...
You start off waking up at the campfire, no idea how you got there.
After collecting your thoughts with the other 3 people, you're all taken by the Entity, separated, and put into a closed-off place none of you has ever seen before.
Anyway, use your imagination.

DBD as a multi-episode tv show would be ######### amazing. You start in media-rez, in the middle of a trial. Repairing gens, terrified, not a clue as to what they're doing. Being killed like flies. A couple episodes go by as we delve into backstories of killers and survivors, how they got there and what their lives were like before. Then we cut back to another trial, this time they've got more of a clue what to do. Montage of them getting better at trials then bam new character comes along. They gotta teach em everything they've learned.
Keeps up like this but you start to see the older characters losing hope, becoming more and more tired of it all. Until one day one of them just vanishes into the fog. Season ends with everyone crying, found a new resolve to keep going for [character's] sake, and they come out victorious in a trial.
Season 2 follows the missing character in the fog, lost and hopeless-
You get the point.

I have said it before, I would love a DBD TellTale style game.

i would like an original tv series about DbD and each license may get one or two episodes that feature their characters.
its all about a group of survivors in the fog, maneuvering around trying to find an exit, sometimes need to get tasks done to get forward(gens. But also different tasks), sometimes they lose a mate, sometimes they stumble over new ones. Sometimes there are antimates, they get splittend etc. Every episode features one or two killers and you can see partly their perspective partly survivor perspective. With flashbacks about previous lives before the fog. Original killers/characters may come back in different episodes but licensed ones are only in specific episodes.

Heres some data,....
Ash vs Evil Dead, as popular and famous as that franchise is, was cancelled due to lack of viewers.
A DbD movie would be costly, and has nowhere near the fanbase as EvilDead and Bruce Campbell, so while I would watch it, investors dont fork over 10mil to make a movie without proof of a ROI (return on investment)

It shouldn’t always be gens, but always different tasks/obstacles. Possibly dependent on the map they are, they have to figure out what to do or just traverse it while avoiding the killer.

Think TV series would be good. Could be like horror version of Sliders. Going from one entity dimension to another, sometimes character runs into themselves. 😂

First Dwight death is him being grabbed out of a locker which Huntress only wanted to get hatchets from.

Dwight tries leading killer to teammate while using bond but it's a Blendette so the killer doesn't see her. Killer downs and moris Dwight next to Blendette.
