M&A Deathslinger has no tells other than breathing. Even then he's right on your ass. Sure, you could look out for him, but by the time you see him you're most likely about to get capped. A M&A Deathslinger is probably some of the best stealth in the game since, as I stated, there are no sound ques for him until you're right next to him. Pig has her sheathing, Myers dry heaves into the microphone, and Ghostface has his wooshy sound. All of these exist for a reason. It's so that survivors have some way to know you're beside them and they can try to do something based off of that. Pair that with him having the upper hand in every chase to nearly a Spirit level, and he's probably one of the most annoying things to go against.

This game isnt about stealth. If you want a hide and seek game go play F13 or hide or die.

Interacting with the killer doesnt mean running into his arms, but engaging in chases and not avoiding being seen all match.

If this was a stealth game there would be way more hiding spots and way less pallets and windows. Also killers have a lot of aura reading perks

    New Deathslinger mechanic: Backswing

If Deathslinger misses a shot, the harpoon will swing back and hit him in the face, stunning him for 20 seconds

But in all seriousness, Deathslinger is already a mid-low tier killer. Despite his inherent weaknesses, he's still likely to get hit with the nerf bat due to being uNfUn to survivor mains. Because, you know, getting a surprise attack isn't fair, or something. Killer fun isn't relevant to the devs. They'll probably give him something outrageous and stupid like a huntress song so no one can play to his strengths.

They probably disappear by the time I get back on here. That or I do NOT CARE about the 100th "Nerf" thread for the week.

I'm more sick of these threads than the Plague is actually sick.

He has a Reload so he won't get a Cooldown.

    Billy didn't have anything.

    Powers are categoried like this:

    - Power Cooldown

    - Power Duration

    - Power Reload

    - Power Tokens/Charges

Can we stop creating these silly threads??? People were already complaining about Spirit, Oni, Death Slinger, etc (before the Billy changes)...

Things that either don't exist, or that most killers cannot do because of how terribly designed they are.

For killers like Bubba and Clown? Definitely. But basically the rest of the roster is playable. The problem isn't that most killers are designed terribly, the problem is most killer players are terrible at the game. There's only 2 really strong loops left in the game, which is the Coldwind blimp and the Game's outdated tiles near the bathroom. Besides Ormond, Haddonfield, and Midwich, you always have a chance to apply pressure unless you get REALLY bad rng for tiles. Which is not all the time. I need to clarify that because many killers will treat it like its constant. It's the mentality that's the problem. You have to recognize your mistakes or else you cannot improve. Blaming the game doesn't help you improve. Killer is all about decision making and planning. Watch videos on how to combat common loops. Be tricky in chases, don't do what they expect you to. Enduring, STBF, Brutal and Bamboozle are your friend. You don't get pressure for free. You have to be aggressive. Slug people and don't take long chases unless you know you're about to get a down. If somebody gives you trouble in chases save them for last and pick off the weaker ones or even wait until they're in a bad spot and you can get an easy hit. Bad killers exist due to a refusal of accepting their mistakes. When you think you're doing nothing wrong you get frustrated. Then you blame the other side. Then it leads into the us vs them mentality. The irony of it all is, I see way more entitled killer mains complaining about entitled survivors and how broken things are, far more than actual entitled survivor mains.
