Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

As a killer main, I feel sometimes Survivors are unbelievably entitled.

I was just watching my friend play on Xbox, right? He opened up as Wraith in the corner where a generator is in a jungle gym. Literally all four survivors were in this corner, and I assume one of them blew a pink gear because they were pushing H A R D to get this gen completed. He downed someone and hooked them, and the other three didn't leave the area. At all. They kept tapping the generator and trying to unhook unsafely, the whole nine yards. They traded at least 3 people out on the hook.

After the game was over he got some mail in his inbox calling him a terrible rank 12 killer because all he did was camp the whole game. Literally, all four of them never left that corner, and he's getting hate for just taking advantage of their inability to play selfishly. One generator got done and it wasn't that one they were pushing for. Why is he getting hate mail? lmao something something camping? lol

Not all people are like this, but unfortunately many are. Just ignore those people, because they will never understand, that your action as a reaction to theirs. If they would leave the area, you would as well.

I don’t see the problem in the OP. Saying someone is bad after an accomplishment is either a lack of character or a prod for a goofy conversation. I’ve been working to make salty players laugh in the end game chat. Soon as I see lol I won twice.

Some are, but I don't really play survivor so I never see it Kappa

He's getting hate mail because some people are sore losers and need to blame another person for their loss instead of improving their strategy. Sometimes I get the feeling survivors are so bored that they have no patience not to do everything right in front of the killer.

I try to roll play when they send stupid messages

    Death is no escape

your life with please the dark one

    Ect

The few times I argued back I tried To get them to understand that I only reacted to what they did.

Like a slug under a person hooked and a injured guy staring at me from the house corner 8m away.... yeah I stood there and camped. I had three people pinned standing still, it was wonderful pressure. Hate mail from each after that 4k

As a person who plays both sides equally I would say entitlement runs deep in this community no matter what side they main.

Eh, its time to accept both sides are incredibly entitled.

Killers mains think DS is too powerful, yet NOED is perfectly fine. Even though both perks work exactly the same: Either you deal with it before the final gen pops, or suffer from it. Seriously, 4 DS might be a 20 second stun total, but 5 totems is 70 seconds. Not including the times of chase after the stun or the time before finding a totem in the first place. Let alone that uncleansable totems exist and basically guarantee a NOED. Sure, RNG might screw NOED over, but statistically speaking, it's more likely to be hidden, than its not. Just as, statistically speaking, you're more likely to not trigger DS at all the entire game, or lose it very early on. And I agree that NOED is fine, doesnt need changing, just like DS doesnt need changing.

Survivors mains think being chased off a hook after having hooked 2 other people first is tunneling, yet if they have to play a round of killer, all they will do is tunnel and camp.

Killer mains claim survivors are too strong, even though all evidence suggests that the game is more balanced than it ever has been in the past(with some discrepancy, like Spirit, soundbugs and the power of the exit gate).

Survivor mains claiming that hitboxes are the real issue(there are 2 that need slight alteration), even though in 99% of the cases its latency, and thinking they are the only one to suffer. Even though killers also suffer from latency issues, albeit a tiny bit less often because killers seem to have a lot of priority in the game when there is lag.

So both sides are incredibly entitled. But its the games where there is a legit discussion afterwards about some questionable things in the game, where people actually understand that it looked very different from the other perspective, where the game actually gets fun.

I fully believe that BeHaviour should add the option to download the match post-game where you can watch everyone as a spectator. That way, reporting with video footage also would be much, MUCH easier for people, as it tends to be hard for most people to quickly record gameplay if they notice cheaty behaviour(like survivors working together with the killer). Let alone that it allows for people to watch the point of view of the opposition, to see why certain choices were made.

Honestly, at red ranks on both sides, I see many more whiny Survivors than Killers. I actually end up talking and laughing with the Killer at the end of most games, with one Killer telling me they would give me hatch next time they saw me. Honestly, I get more hate from my teammates than from Killers, just because I don't side with them when they whine at the Killer in post game chat. And as Killer, I get called a tunneller quite often for returning to a generator and downing + hooking the recently unhooked, unhealed person... what do you want me to do? Let you work on the objective while I ignore you since you were just taken off the hook? Big brain...

Even taking into consideration that there are 4 Survivors to every 1 Killer, I would definitely say that I encounter more Survivor toxicity than Killer toxicity. Even Killers that use moris are usually silent in endgame chat, until someone starts insulting them and being horrible, and then a saltfest ensues. Very sad.

To be fair, you get it from both sides. I also get face camped by killers if I’m a pain in the arse for them to catch. It’s just the price you pay for playing with real people. There’s a lot of babies out there who will spit out their dummy if things don’t go their way. I will admit that I do receive messages more from survivors. But not all killers are innocent either as I feel like some want to receive abuse and they try to make survivors as annoyed as possible. People are just an odd bunch. 😂

Yeah survivors are usually way more toxic and entitled than killers. When I play survivor I usually have to defend the killer in chat when survivors just get angry at the killer for existing.

Everyone In this community is entitled and biased Just a fact. All of the toxicity is the same no matter what the side. It only feels worse as killer to be picked on in end game chat because its 4 people ganging up on you, When in reality none of it even matters. Just press the leave button and move on to the next game.
