New Killer Idea: The Alpha
New Killer: The Alpha
(I apologize if this is too long but I wanted to get every detail in!)
Bio: Ever since Elizabeth was a girl, she always loved dogs. Their cute eyes, floppy ears, and big noses were just the cutest. At night, Elizabeth would always look outside her home and see men take dogs into the bar across her from her house. She always wondered what went on in there because some of the men left without their dogs. When she was finally 21, Elizabeth decided that tonight would be the night she figured out what was going on. She put on dark clothing and made her way into the bar, she quietly followed the men downstairs into a dark basement and what she saw horrified her.
A dog fighting arena, with a fight just about to start. Elizabeth watched horribly as the dogs ripped into each others neck and blood was spilled. She tried to speak up but she knew she would get caught, who knew what they would do to her. As the fight ended the losing dog was dragged by his owner into a room in the back of the arena and Elizabeth followed. The man used various tools to beat and torture the poor dog, each whimper made Elizabeth fall into despair. She snapped and picked up a butchers knife from a small table and stabbed the dog fighter in the back, then two more times to make sure he was dead.
Elizabeth moved on to the rest of the men, the more times she stabbed the greater her lust for killing grew. After murdering all of them Elizabeth suddenly felt a strange feeling. Darkness surrounded her and suddenly, she was in a new world. Something whispered to her from the shadows and Elizabeth smiled, she was no longer Elizabeth she was The Alpha, and she knew she would get her revenge.
Overview
The Alpha is a skillful killer, able to chase and slow down Survivors with her power, Entity's Hound. It allows her to send out a fast attack dog able to hunt and grab onto Survivors, allowing her to catch up to them and kill them.
Her personal perks, Torturous Ways, Trauma, and No One Can Live weaken hooked and dying Survivors and allows her to be more deadly as the Trial comes to it's conclusion.
Killer Info
Speed: 110% or 4.4 m/s
Alt. Speed: 90% or 3.6 m/s (When the hound is sent out)
Terror Radius: 30 meters
Appearance: The Alpha will wear a black hoodie (hood won't be up) with dark jeans and brown combat boots. She will have a short dark brown ponytail and will wear a black bandana to hide her mouth. Her weapon will be a butcher's knife.
Killers Power: Entity's Hound
A Hound that were blessed by The Entity are now trained to hunt with The Alpha's command.
- Grants the ability to send out the hound to run in a straight line.
- If the hound lands on a Survivor, it will grab on to them and the Survivor they will be unable to move until The Alpha steps into the disengage radius (15 meters)or after holding on to the survivor for at least 8 seconds.
Notes about Entity's Hounds
- The hound has a base speed of 110%
- The hound can be stunned by pallets however, if a pallet has already been thrown down it can jump over it.
- The hound can only travel up to 40 meters.
- The hound has a cooldown of 18 seconds.
- HOUNDS DO NOT INJURE SURVIVORS (Unless using an addon)
Addons
I won't list all the addons to save space but here's what some of them would look like,
Common: will slightly affect the distance, cooldown, and speed of the Hound.
Uncommon: will moderately affect the distance, cooldown, and speed of the Hound.
Rarewill considerably affect the distance, cooldown, and speed of the Hound. They will also give Status Effects to the Survivor caught by the Hound. (Mangled, Exhaustion, and Hemorrhage.)
A rare addon will also reduce the disengage range slightly (-3 meters)
Very Rare: will moderately reduce the disengage range (-5 meters)
Spiked Whip:
- The Hound will no longer get stunned by pallets and will break them instantly.
Moderately decreases the range of The Hound. (-10 meters)
Dog's EarWhen the hound grabs a survivor, The Alpha's terror radius is reduced to 0 until the survivor is released.
- Moderately Increases the amount of time The Hound holds onto the Survivor. (+3 seconds)
Ultra Rare
Butcher's Knife
- The Hounds will now injure survivors when caught.
- Tremendously decreases the time the hound holds onto the Survivor (-5 seconds)
Dog Fighter's Switchblade
- The Hound has no disengage radius.
Perks:
Torturous Ways
Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability.
When Survivors enter a 16/18/20 meter range of a hooked Survivor, their auras are revealed to you until they unhook the survivor, or leave the range.
You must be at least 25 meters away from the hook in order for Torturous Ways to activate.
"Haha, look at them suffer" -The Alpha
Trauma
Your vicious attacks make Survivors extremely weak.
Survivors' recovering speed is reduced by 20/25/30% and their speed while in the dying state is reduced by 5/10/15%
"Agh! Dammit, it hurts too much!"
No One Can Live
Your lust for killing is so intense that when Survivors are about to escape, you become extremely enraged.
When the final generator is complete,
- Your Terror radius is decreased by 10 meters
- The Red Stain disappears for 60 seconds.
"No! I can't let them escape!"
If you managed to read all of this thank you! I'd like to know your thoughts!

Why do you should use hound in the first place? It moves with the same speed as killer, don't deal any damage except for stun and runs at straight line. And while using hound, killer moves with 90% speed, lolwut.
And, finally, when you slowly walk with this 90% speed to stunned survivor, survivor breaks free once you 15m away.
What is the point of all this? Hound jumping through windows and pallets? We have bamboozled, enduring and brutal straingth to counter this stuff.2 -
Does it assert dominance with a T-Pose?

I kinda dislike how Torturous Ways makes Territorial Imperative obsolete.
I like TI on some Killers, so you can bet i'd run TW.
But it's better in every way, which isn't something i'd prefer.0 -

What about the killer morphing into a canine form to hunt the survivors instead of a hound? Have a time limit on it and increased speed and blood stain last substantially longer (or can smell survivors...like the whisper perk I guess)
One of the Auto haven wrecker maps always has howling if you listen, so maybe that can be brought into the lore. Perhaps the wreckers was near a street with the dog fighting bar or something?
New map would be a street like haddonfield or springwood. Maybe one end could be a gate (permanently locked) that has a autohaven wreckers sign on it.
Bar/Pub could have a generator in a the fighting pit, with only one entrance so a dangerous one to do.0 -
I think it's a cool design but she doesn't seem all that scary.0

I really like the idea, but I think the hound should move faster to accommodate for her slower movement speed and the cool down. Cool idea, OP.

Nice idea! Just a couple of pointers.
Let the hounds have faster speed; 123% or something, otherwise whats the point of using them if you can walk yourself as the speed is the same? dont let them let go of the survivor if youre within 15 metres range; instead just let them go after the 8 seconds. Also, maybe instead of running in a straight line always (it would be a game of luck then), have it so that initially they run in a straight line but upon noticing a survivor within 5 metres of a launched dog, they will pounce on them, no matter whats in the way. (This could help with catching AND hunting — survivors trying to get away and leaving scratch marks and stuff)
Torturous Ways - really OP, change the range for the survivor to be 6/8/10 metres if youre 25 metres away from the hook; and if the perk is used, give an audio cue for the survivor that theyre being watched.
Trauma - Really OP as well— change the recovery regression to 7/10/13% (trust me 30% is a huge difference; unbreakable gives +25% at most, so half of that seems reasonable for a killer perk), and movement regression to 2/4/6% (they move extremely slow already).0
