Cross Platform Play
What's up guys! Quick question, forgive me in advance if this has already been answered but, does any one know when cross platform play will happen? I'm thinking about buying the game on the switch, but I kno it's only against other players who play on switch, which kind of sucks. Thanks guys! Have fun killin! Or... trying to survive lol

Some time in September
and it will be between: Xbox, PS4, Switch and PC... I'm still not sure if that's even right

Awesome! Great to know, guess ill go ahead and purchase on the switch then. Hopefully it'll be worth it lol (I've been playing on ps4 since 2017) Thanks !

There is also cross progression planned between PC, Switch, and something called Google Stadia, so any Switch progress should, on theory, cross over to PC if you decide to change to it at any point.

"We are thrilled to announce that we are preparing the first steps toward Cross-Progression and that it will be available for Steam, Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch in September! Players will be able to share their progression, purchases, and inventory on those 3 platforms – Exceptions might have to be made to accommodate for some external licensing needs."

That's Cross-Progression, not to be confused with Cross-Play. Cross-Play, playing with people across multiple platforms, is sounding like it'll be more across the board.
