Thank you guys for finally doing separate killer MMR
I know a vocal minority is complaining about the "killer lock". But I just want to express how excited I am for this change and see it as a huge improvement to the current system in place. I got to red ranks using only Nurse and find myself playing the killer side much less because of this. I really want to practice Huntress, but I don't feel like going through the masochism of "getting good" especially against good players. What made Nurse so much more fun to improve at was I saw players get better as I improve, instead of being thrown into the deep end. I'm excited to go back to that and I can see myself playing killer (and this game) much more.

I think it's a good change except for the exploit that can be used to see what killer is being used. Separate killer mmr will be fun

this is not worth it, if the dev's are gonna lock us into a killer now in lobby. Going against a bunch of flashlights with hag is not fun.
Besides, most killers all share the fundemental basics of the game. So i really don't think this system is necesarry at all. I think this system will make most average killers experience even worse.
And lets not even bring up how people can cheat and see the killer in the lobby bringing items to counter them. I have seen them all switch to flashlights when i go hag

You can just dodge the match then if you see a lobby you do not want to go up against. It's not that deep.

Of course you use the example of the 1 killer that is different to the rest. And yes, my skill level as wraith/trapper/ghostface/legion/freddy is all the same. You really don't think a rank 1 legion would absolutely destroy rank 20 survivors if he played as freddy? Nurse and maybe spirit are the only 2 examples where seperate MM works.

I play a lot but not sure if play enough to get all killers to red ranks every month just to not play in low rank?

I want to know if all killers mmr will be set at 0 initially, so it starts basically at rank 20, or will it take into account your current skill based on X amount of previous matches.
If everyone starts at 0 then newbies are going to have a rough time for a week or two.

@teamdehn in the bubba/billy PTB the hack was already removed so dont worry about that anymore.

It was fair enough you went after the two killers I picked, but to then make a crazy point yourself by comparing rank 1 to rank 20 kind of nullified that.
Ranks don't matter too much, but let's pretend they do... would you be able to squash a rank 20 team with any killer? Yes. Would your rank 5 matches turn out the same if you're a freddy main and use him versus using deathslinger? No. It's silly to pretend otherwise.
