Why do people take it so seriously?!
The amount of abuse I’ve received lately from other survivors all because I haven’t acted in a way they expect me to during a game is ridiculous.
Not sure why everyone is so deeply invested in whether they survive a match or not, it’s meant to be fun!

Well some people enjoy the teamwork required to escape a good killer.

I mean I'm all for having fun, but if you are cucking the team just memeing around, it's bound to be a bit annoying.

Most recent example being a player was downed by killer just as I got the gate open, I’m on my way back to help said teammate and the killer mori’s them and I get a message of abuse after match for not helping?!
It just puts you off playing sometimes when people are so negative.

I never said I was upset, I just find it very weird and immature that people feel the need to abuse others. But judging from some of the discussions from this forum, I can see it’s just a very petty community.

People like me having fun with winning the game and that is at least +1 pip. Everything else is a loss and i ain't having fun. If you are not a competetive person, you don't care.

I would agree games are meant to be fun. The reason some people take it way more seriously than others is because their personal criteria for a match to be fun is more stringent than others. Did they pip? Did they get a certain amount of bloodpoints? Did they escape? Did they get a 4k? There are lot of people that play this game (and any other) with a strict guide as to what they consider fun, and if it doesn't happen they aren't having fun.
I've got a friend that is a killer main. He has decided a fun game is a 12 hook 4k. If he doesn't get it he's upset. I won't play this game with him or even talk about it with him. He's stressed himself completely when it comes to this game because fun for him is just way too sweaty for my tastes.
