This is tunneling now?
So, for full context my build was Discordance, Nurses, BBQ, and Corrupt. A build I have a lot of success with. Being Ghostface + Knowing what people are always doing = profit.
I grab him at the very start of the game, hook him, and then down someone while they were unhooked. They immediately hopped on the gen so I slugged and went to push them off. Nea left and he didn’t. I see he’s had past issues with Ghostie boys, but did he expect me to just leave him to do the gen?
Side note I fully planned to just slug him for pressure and not even put him on his second hook as I already had someone ready to be hooked. TTVs truly are something else.

I'm more stunned with how fast he left that match rofl. Talk about muscle memory smh...

I wanted to post the clip with sound, but I didn’t have anything I could upload to other than imgur on short notice. The audio really adds to the comedy of it all. “I just got off the ######### hook!” Yeah, and got on the gen directly next to it.
2 -
Yeah I was sad there wasn't audio. I just wanted to hear what the heck he was saying.
But to keep it topical, no, this isn't tunneling imo. I mean what did they expect lol?

Tomorrow I’ll probably upload the actual video somewhere and comment under this thread with it. It’s pretty great to watch a VOD of you as killer from the survivor perspective.
I didn’t think it was tunneling either. I wasn’t looking for validation. More so sharing how streamers tend to view the game. Left all his teammates to lose 100% now because he got slugged.

Killer: Exists.
Survivors: Stop tunneling!!

This was nothing anywhere near tunneling and honestly I get so angry when I see a streamer act like that and DC and probably ######### talk as well...
We are supposed to be a role model and not promote toxicity and stupid childish behavior. smh...

This is 90% of the "Tunneling" or "Camping" Accusations I have seen both as a killer and survivor.

Yeah, i've played against some TTV's before, and luckily they were more chill (although they were in a SWF group with voice chat, which made things stupidly difficult). Watching things back from their perspective was pretty cool.
Pipedream here, but I wish there was a playback mode (like in Overwatch, or Heroes of the Storm, etc.) where you can watch back a game from various viewpoints. It'll never happen, but man that'd be cool.
But yeah I get what you mean. That's why I pointed out how fast he quit out. That clearly wasn't the first time he's just bailed on a game and blamed it on the killer lol. And it's not really about that player in particular. It's more about the mindset that a lot of players have. And the sad thing is, they let that negative mindset affect their teammates too.

My question is: how many followers does this guy having willingly watching him Rage Quit Live on stream? 🤔
3 -
His teammates were very chill and nice. I gave one hatch and apologized for them having a lame teammate like I usually do for DCs.
4 -
The amount of people that agree with his behavior is high, so it can be anything from little to many :).

I was the first person to watch the VOD and it was because I knew I was in it and wanted to see why it was he DCed. I think he had a couple viewers at the time.

Don't you know that if the killer is on the same map as survivors they are already camping and tunneling?

I uploaded the video with sound to reddit for you. Enjoy lol

All i see is a salty rank 20 survivor. No need to explain yourself here.
1 -
He’s actually somehow a rank 7 with the situation awareness and looping potential of a rank 20. I find it hilarious that he has spinechill and got caught off guard twice. Why even use the perk slot for it?
2 -
These people really bug me. These and the ones who go out of their way to jump into a locker in front of you so you eat their DS, then call you a tunneller.
The very definition of “mad cause bad”. If they don’t want to be “tunnelled” maybe don’t play like an idiot?
4 -
This lmao.
It reminds the people in Call of Duty that can start -> scroll to leave match -> leave match in like 0.1 seconds. If it's on a stream or in a video you just see the start menu for like 1 frame and they're already outta there 😄

I cant quite read his name on the video, but I'm interested to see some of his others, can anyone read it?

Still we should not start a witch hunt here. Maybe he was having a bad day. Happens to all of us...

Whenever I play against TTVs I always check the VOD to see what they saw in the match from their perspective.
It's very interesting to see how they think, most of the time they feel victimized when they don't see the bigger picture of what's happening, or they just played poorly and don't care to see why. Like that streamer in the video you showed deliberately ignored spine chill... I guess moving the camera to see if it's a stealth killer is too much effort for him...
For instance, I had a match with clown where they 3 genned themselves because they did gens too fast to pay attention, this TTV was on a SWF with one other person in the match. Obviously once I downed someone I would hook them in the middle of the 3 gen so I could patrol it. Obviously they accused me of camping before even realizing they 3 genned themselves, after a mere like 5 seconds of me not leaving the hook area...
Same thing happens when they see I slug or tunnel someone, but they don't see what I see as killer, which is 3 gens done, a forth one at 75% and two more at 50%....
Or one time, I was playing Deathslinger, this ttv was the last survivor on Haddonfield, looking for the hatch. Instead of looking around to see if I could be following him, he basically just ran out in the open looking straight ahead of him, didn't even look side to side... Naturally, I had spotted him, and shot him from outside my TR before he made a corner, so it was a pretty good longshot. In the VOD he was talking to chat and immediately stops when he gets shot and starts whining about how Deathslinger is so boring... nevermind how carelessly he was playing and how the shot I made was a difficult shot...
I wonder how common it is for survivors in general to complain about stuff when they play poorly or can't see the whole context of the match before they start feeling victimized by the big bad killer, and ttvs are just a little glimpse of that we actually get to see. And there's probably killer ttvs that are just as unreasonably whiny...

He was a crybaby. That wasn't tunneling at all. For one thing, you even let him get off the hook and heal. You also didn't camp when he was hooked. He just sucked at the game. He was running a green Spine Chill instead of a purple one for one thing and it was going off. Since Ghostface has a low terror radius, that was his clue to get off the gen. When he was healed, he was foolish enough to go right back to the gen even when you were in the area. Streamers tend to annoy me with this game. When they down a survivor, they act toxic for "entertainment for viewers". When they make mistakes, they act toxic to save face for their viewers. They should go play Gta V or Cod tbh.

I agree it is all in the perspective of the player but it does happen I think more with people that stream because god forbid they look bad in front of their followers. I mean who wants to watch someone suck at a game so it is better to blame others then their own lack of skill or self awareness. I mean I have played a few games as survivor where I did get mad but that is actually more at fellow survivors then the killer. I mean when I am using kindred and you see the killer camping and instead of doing gens, not 1, not 2, but all 3 come in to stand there and pretty much watch me die. GO DO GENS while i waste the killers time.
I actually respect good killers and yes there are certain killers I respect more when played well like Nurse and Clown. I know people say legion stinks but I personally love him/her because they can cover a good amount of the maps. I know I am off topic but overall I will sum it up by saying simply it is human nature to try to place blame in places other than ourselves sadly.
I think this person did the right thing and does it suck this guy got down so soon, sure but it is his own fault for not taking Spine chill's warning and thinking the killer should not touch him while on a gen. Heck he may have even left him alone had he not been on a gen but sitting on a gen he needed to be stopped.

TBH I very rarely judge a killer for what they do in a match when I play survivor. Because I know that if I have teammates who are doing gens and can run the killer for like 20 seconds, as long as I don't ######### up I can win the match. So either the killer is doing whatever they are doing out of absolute necessity or my teammates and I are just ######### up and that's why we're losing. So yeah, I too am more likely to be upset at myself or my teammates than the killer, because Im aware the killer has a different perspective of the match.
There are some ttvs that understand the bigger picture and when they are upset at something they have a good reason... but at least in my experience, most ttvs that I go against and then watch the VOD act like they think whining about the killer is what you're supposed to do instead of getting better XD
I dunno if you saw the video with full volume, but goddamn he deliberately ignores spine chill(which is the worst thing he does), is wearing earbuds which I can't assume are as good as decent gaming headphones, so he doesn't hear Ghostface's cloth flaps, he doesn't even bother looking around to see if it's a stealth killer, especially after seeing spine chill light up. Gets grabbed and Immediately complains about Ghostface, because I guess Spine chill is not enough, he literally needs a massive sound queue to tell him the killer is coming from a mile away.
He gets unhooked and after getting healed immediately hops on a gen(which BTW with two people gets completed in 47 seconds, like the killer can just let that happen...). He sees the Ghostface doesn't pick up the Claudette, and once again SEES SPINE CHILL LIGHT UP. Doesn't even bother to let go of the gen until he sees the Ghostface, obviously too late for him to run away safely, especially since he is at a corner of the map, and then complains about being tunneled.
I have seen this level of entitlement before, but it always amazes me just how these people will not recognize making the most basic of mistakes and then whine about the other players.

I love that he:
-Gets healed under hook
-gets on gen with Nea
-sees person left slugged
-spine chill activates
-sees Nea leave gen
THEN runs and calls it tunneling. Like dude, you had PLENTY of cues to tell you you should probably leave.
2 -
It was crazy. I mean why use Spine Chill if you are not gonna watch for it. I seen that go off and he stayed there so I was like yep you were warned. I know I use Spine Chill and STILL look around so this was just all dumb on his part. lol
2 -
I mean if he had ds itd still be active and ds is a anti tunnel perk right?! So ye totally tunneling.
