So a question for the console Billy mains.
So I finally decided to try for his adept. Got it on my second try. But my question is how do so many console Billy's manage to turn so effectively? I ran spiked boots, which helped. But I still feel pretty clunky trying to turn. Any advice would be appreciated.

I used to main Billy on ps4, you can actually kinda flick with a controller, as soon as he starts moving turn left or right with right stick, after that, it all comes with practice, he is fun to use so you will learn fast.
I can't really give tips considering I don't know what issues you have with him, other thing you can do is get used to 100% sensitivity

It Just seems like most really good Billy's can make amazing turns. Not even at the beginning of the sprint. I was getting a bit better with my last game. So maybe it'll improve with practice. I'm just not really sure how they do it.

I think you're talking about the curve at the start of the chainsaw, i'm pretty sure that steering add ons don't effect it.
For actual steering try to bounce off objects that just barely hit your hitbox and learn objects that have no collision.
(I'm not a billy main so I might not give the best advice :L)

Maybe you have the same issue I had back when I started with Billy, don't look at the survivor when trying to use the chainsaw, try looking at the bar as much as possible, think of the loop you want to use the chainsaw, spiked boots are really good for practicing BUT I suggest trying addon less.
There is this little trick, it will be hard to learn overnight, but practice killer shack with him, instead of trying to curve like on pc, learn how to space between the walls.

This is something that will help you, but this was something I was doing a few months ago before the sensitivity patch, on console you have to be almost 2 (I want to say around 1.75) bodies away from the wall in order to use the chainsaw effectively.
On certain other loops like let's say tractor, it is really hard to kill a survivor without an engraving or engravings.
You can also try double steering addons which I believe are the spiked boots and the moonshine to curve a lot easier.

Well if you have the sensitivity turned to max then all you need to do is push the thumbstick to the left or right all the way. Unlike a mouse you cannot mess this up. Just push till it pushes no more ^.^
The REAL question should be "Hey console players, how do you fella's actually see ######### when the FPS is so damn blurry!?"

I don't have my sensitivity maxed. I'll have to try that and see what kind of results that yields. And at times the fps struggle is real.
