Ormond question?

Does anybody actually like this map? I feel like if you do, you are probably a psychopath to be honest (no offense).

It's a pretty busted map. One of the worst ones you can get as killer. If you're playing against good survivors your chance of winning is quite low.
For most killers you basically have to just give up half the map and pick your 3 gen from the start. The map is just way too large and with way too many chained loops to even have a chance of pressuring it properly.

I like this map.
Provided I'm playing survivor. And I'm not playing Claudette. And my teammates are smart.
In other words, I hate this map with a burning passion and wouldn't complain if the entire DLC got deleted and/or revamped. :)

I hate it as survivor and love it as killer. I love a good challenge.

But... Jeff.

This is the worst map in dbd right now along with red forest maps, blood lodge and Haddonfield. Too big, too many loops connected etc. What I'm trying to say is this map is piss.

I don't know if I hate Ormond or Haddonfield more.
Both are horrible though.

I guess that makes me a psychopath 🤷♂️🥴
It's not a bad map if you play it right. Knowing and doing Gens instead of trying to Master Senai Loop the Killer.
As Killer. Dont fall for loops.

Maybe it's...Not... the Map but instead... some1, thing else 🤔

Ormond is one of the most unfun maps to play as killer on. Even more than haddonfield. Pre Balanced Landing nerf, I'd say Haddonfield was the worst, but now its just Ormond that's really unfun. Hopefully it's size is revisited.

Its the best survivor map. It got all those really good loops and pallets connected to each other, any decent survivor can loop the killer for 3 gens before going down unless they make a very lethal mistake or get heavy mindgamed. The main building itself got 1-2 god pallets and 1-2 strong window loops

Bad map, one of the worst.

A worthy sacrifice to remove Legion and Ormond.
Every pallet on that map bar 2 that may not even spawn is safe. Loops chain together to form one massive jungle gym. Filler pallets are incredibly safe, there are so many maze tiles, it spawns about 3 C-walls which should be a crime in and of itself, snow makes many peoples fps drop (it used to tank mine from 14 to 3). It's one of, if not the, most survivor sided map in the game.
If every survivor knows how to chain tiles you've lost.

Ormond has the same trouble as many maps:
They seem to be there mostly to showcase their related killer's powers:
Ormond is optimized for legion, haddon for mike, glenvale for caleb etc.
but balancing this is neigh impossible, as the killers are so varied in their strengths.
