Cosmetic Department
Lol, this is gonna look like licking their boots cause it's from a Trusted guy, but...
Looking back at 2016, and getting cosmetic DLC like 80's Suitcase & Bloodstained Sack: They've come a long way.
Setting other departments aside, at the very least the cosmetic department is doing an amazing job.
You might not like the next outfit for your new character, but the quality of each new piece is rising every year.
Anything you like from them that's recent?
Idk if announcements should count as recent, but i'm gonna, so my pick is that new Wraith outfit.
Especially that giant #########-off weapon.

Legions rabbit, I got that as soon as it was released. Really liking using wraiths scarecrow look atm, although don't know how recent that is. Was already out when I started playing couple months ago

I personally really liked the most recent David cosmetic and the Jeff one too. Shame that it released with a black hole in the torso (I think the most recent Meg cosmetic had that too), so hopefully they fix that next patch. I agree that the quality is getting so much better, using the headpieces alone and comparing default skins to recent is such a huge improvement in quality. I would highlight Jeff's Scarlet Swarm man bun for this, his beard looks so fluffy haha.

Honestly there hasn't been a set in a long time that's got me excited. Last one would have been Saw 3 Pig.

Graff-Crafter Nea looks badass. I've always wanted a survivor skin with a respirator mask so I bought it instantly. I'm not too bothered about it being linked since it looks great as a set anyways.
Corrupted Pyramid Head is also daddy asf.

I remember Mcote kept setting Tomb Raider's hair option in the graphics settings as an example for how detrimental long, beautiful hair can be to the performance.

I'm living for Nea and Jeff's newest cosmetics. My friend and I wear them (I play Nea, he plays Jeff) when we SWF, and they just look like some post-apoc badasses together on the loading screen.
But overall, I love the variety available. It makes it fun to switch up appearances every once in a while.

I think some of the cosmetic choices have been... iffy. They have done an amazing job designing them and adding them to the game, but some aren't great. For instance:
The forced sets. They are a bad idea.
Robbie Legion: A terrible idea. If you want to give a costume to somebody, give it to CLOWN.
I like Jeff's new set. But it doesn't really match with anything.
Most nurse cosmetics do not match with any others (different skin tones between the wedding dress outfits and her newer ones.)
They all look great, but I just really question why they did it the way they do it sometimes, like with all of Behavior.
