Farming Ultimatum turns into something fun
Get a message while waiting for match from the killer. He sent it to all 4 survivors. The message included instructions. Not kidding. Informed us we were to all meet at the center of the map. After hanging each of us twice he would step away and allow us to do generators and then leave. Even went so far as to say if anyone did a generator before we were all hung twice he would be forced to prevent us from leaving. Here's the thing. If a killer sends me a message before a message ASKING me to help with some sort of objective I will go along even though I don't really like farming. Send me a message demanding I play along and give me an ultimatum......
I didn't respond to him, but I did switch characters. I haven't used my fully immersive Blendette build in quite awhile. I guess I'm not the only survivor that wasn't willing to play along when given an ultimatum. Two other survivors switched to Blendettes. I played a Yamaoka offering and messaged the other survivors.
We decided we would do nothing that makes noises. Didn't attempt to do a generator. Just sneaking around the map hiding from the killer. 15 minutes into the match when the killer had only managed to find one person. He hung and facecamped that one. He sends a message telling us if we will let him hang each of us once he will let us leave afterwards. After it became obvious we weren't going to comply he DC'd.
This was the only time I have ever received a message before a match from a killer giving me instructions with an ultimatum. It was really fun to make him regret being arrogant enough to presume he could tell us what we were going to do. If it ever happens again I've got my Blendette ready to go.

When the killer gives an ultimatum for farming, I bounce, though it's usually on the loading screen for the match. I get it can be fun and good points, but increasingly this is what I'm running into and it has been making things not fun- not the game I sign in to play.

Mind posting their Ultimatum? I for one would like to read it. 😬

This is the only time I've had an ultimatum. If I was pressed for time I would have just left the lobby on this one. Since I had some time to kill though I thought it would be fun to see if he could keep that promise to kill us if we didn't comply

Killer here. I'm farming. You're all helping. Meet in the middle of the map. After I've hung each of you twice you can leave. If a gen pops before you've all been hung twice I will kill all of you.

I meant a snapshot of the messege on screen. But no worries 😬

This guy was an idiot. Most survivors are willing to help with a daily or just farm if you ask. When I needed to finish some Tome challenges I never had people refuse to help. Demanding is just begging for them to refuse.
As a side note did the killer burn any BP offerings?

Here is what you are going to do;
1: You will cease posting comment replies on this thread anymore.
2: You will delete any comments currently posted on this thread, with the exception of this one.
3: You will upload any and all pictures of shirtless Myers you can find on the internet.
4: You shall then contact Peanits and inform him that this skin WILL be added into the game, or else.
5: You shall continue to do so until I say otherwise.
Should you for any reason NOT comply I will be forced to do nothing about it and simply move on to another whom shall be chosen in place of you.

Someone played one. All things considered I would assume it was the killer.
You're right. Most will help if asked. I don't like to farm, but I will in almost every instance if I am asked instead of told. If I sit down to play and I know I've only got time for one match at that point I may back out from a lobby if a killer wants to farm. The only reason at that point is if I only have time for one match I don't want it to be farming. But I at least give them the opportunity to find someone that has time to go along.

I guess you will have to find another chosen one. For I do not deem myself worthy of the immense responsibility that would place on me.

I've found that's a good way to gain good will from survivors who are a bit wary of trusting a killer asking for help.

Without a doubt. I don't even like farming, but I still would have been willing to help if it had been a request instead of a demand. I might have even just considered leaving the lobby had it not included an ultimatum

i've rarely experienced anyone wanting to help me as killer to get a challenge done even though IF I KNOW what the challenge is i'll try and help a survivor. I come up on a gen and people scatter i start smacking the gen, i down the survivor TAKE them past several hooks and smack a gen while they wiggle off they don't want to... so my experience is my charity as a killer is unwanted. I shouldn't even try ah well. how ever i've found more killers willing to help survivors get their challenges done when they know what it is! interesting dichotomy eh?

Typically If you want a specific challenge done you need to message one of them. I've never had a survivor refuse to help. Burning a anniversary cake or streamer helps as well.

I burned 10 Bloody party streamers to get the 4 deep wounds challenge in a row done, TEN where I did very little but frenzy and try to get the 4 in one run, i banged on gens, i didn't hook anyone so i got 6K each match, maybe 7, gotta love that they got 30-40K and i get 12K for 10 bps.... their over all responses? we just thought you were that bad. that's when i got pissed and slugged the next group and let them bleed out, then quit for the day.

I have had survs know whats up.
I needed the locker grab one done, and basically downed a Jeff, stood near him hitting the locker. Picked him up, swiveled until he struggled off, hitting locker, he got in locker, I grabbed him and dropped him and let him get picked up as a thank you.
It happens.

That is really bad luck. The only other thing I can suggest is messaging one of them. I've never had them refuse when I do that.
@DrDeepwound that's been my experience as well. They typically catch on if I haven't messaged them directly. I feel bad for Freki. They seem to have the worst luck with this.

Yeah. That's one of those one in a million type of luck things. Until today the only time I've ever refused to help when asked is the situation I mentioned where I've only got time for one game and don't want to spend it farming. Even then I just back out of the lobby and let the killer find someone that will farm and I find a lobby where I get a non-farming match.

I've done things like that plenty of times as a survivor main. Most of the time the killer will let you get away for helping them. It may be game on after that, but they show appreciation for the help at that moment.

9 times out of 10, unless my challenge is to kill X number of people i'll make it a game i don't just sit there the whole match kicking a gen, but i'll give chases, make it real but let people go and i get crapped on for doing it. but it's not one in a million, it's more than you realize that people will just take advantage of a situation. in the issue where i burned 10 bps' (all i had on the legion) normally people see that and see that i've only tried to deep wounds them they let it happen. one time i had all 4 at the exit gate just standing there, the moment i went into frenzy they left. just is a bit of a crap shoot on what kind of people you get in the game because some people are soooooo superior to you (sarcasm) that they will toy with you and not even help but this is why it's hard for some to be nice as killer because they get taken advantage of many times.

I'm sorry it's that way. People suck
