Gentapping
Ok, so we all see that survivors gentap litterally in chase and somehow dont die or get hit. I'd suggest delay to stop regression to make gen breaking worthier. I'd made it ~2.5 seconds of delay just to stop from repairing mid-chases. Thoughts?
Edit: ik its a game where balance>realism but this is actually pretty realistic.
Edit 2: I've came up with the idea when spotted such event:
killer loops survivor-> there's a gen regressing nearby->survivor taps it, it stops regressing->survivor runs to another loop
So when survivor is downed, killer, if gen was hot(>80%) has to return(what wastes a looot of time) or leave it as-is what, again, causes problem. Thats what im talking about.
Below would be listed a delay time.

Really not a bad idea at all, I can't believe this poll hasn't received more comments or attention outside of those who have responded to it so far. This is definitely something they should look to incorporate into the live build, it's certainly something I'd like to see, or maybe something similar.
I just had an idea where maybe instead of what you're suggesting go the opposite route. Depending on how long a survivor has been working on a generator determines how quick regressing a generator should take. If you only touched it for a second, the killer should be able to start regressing it again fairly quickly, maybe just m1-ing the generator regresses it again. If a survivor has been repairing a generator for 10 seconds or more, the killer must go through the full kicking animation to regress the generator.
Either of these ideas I like, and think could both realistically work.

gen tapping should be as it is, if you gen tap in the wrong time, you're dead, and in this game, you should get something for doing a good play. so this is stupid.

Are mods/devs gonna spot it by themselves or we have to adress it somehow? Rn, 27th july, 20:40 gmt+3(kyiv) 76% stand for implementing these changes. Most(43%) stand for 2.5 seconds delay, i think that this is enough to prove the fact it is pretty crucial change.... Well, your turn, BHVR.

I’m one of the guys that think gens need some sort of minigame to go along with it, so the time should really be scaled based on performance.
In the meantime, a good three or so seconds should do the job. I’m all for anything really.

I don't understand the people who says gen tapping should take longer than 2.5 seconds or whatever. It takes only 2 seconds default for a killer to kick the gen, how do you think its fair for it taking survivors longer to stop it. Maybe something around 1s could be good but personally I don't see a problem with it at the moment. This change would make kicking generators mid-chase a valid strategy for killers which means they can just let a gen regress while chasing a survivor right next to it and that survivor can't do anything about it.

It's ok as it is. It's meant to avoid purely stalling situations. Same reason why base regression is only 25% of base repair speed.
Your objective is not to stall gens forever. Your objective is to kill survivors.
Your pressure doesn't come from kicking gens when survivors are nearby. Your pressure comes from chasing and downing the nearby survivors.

Yes, however, lets just assume that, well, in-game, survivor's time is 2-4 times less worthy then killer's time(this actually might be a false statement)
But we are not talking about this. I've told about the problem of gen-tapping in chases, its not about repair in general...

If you dont know:
Overcharge a Generator
by performing the Damage Generator action.
The next Survivor interacting with that Generator is faced with a tremendously difficult Skill Check
