Bubba is weaker than before...
I have now played 14 rounds and I have never managed a 2K, 3K or 4K in any round. The charges are far too short and you cannot use them to build up pressure against the Survivor. The addons are just too weak. I don't know where that buff is supposed to be, but Bubba is definitely not stronger than before.
Btw: With SWF-Groups... its impossible to win a round with Leatherface in a Lobby with premates...
For comparison: Before the rework, I almost always got a 3K-4K with Bubba. Every Round. What are your experiences, how do you see that?

I haven't played since the patch but I was under the impression these changes would make him stronger. It sounded like he would be even more dangerous if you were caught in an area with zero pallets/windows.

Then play Leatherface. Leatherface was very strong in the PTB, but now... you will see!

I feel that back revving may be stronger with the shorter cooldown. But also weaker without charge time addons.
Hes so different that I kinda forgive the nerfs he 100% received.
Besides, who was fighting for camping Cannibal?

I think he is much stronger. I have been having great success so far. About 10 matches played and all have been 3k or 4k. And I hardly even played him before this patch.

Leatherface is a absolute UNIT now! I don't know what are you talking about.
He's way better that before! You can actually loop and catch up now with his chainsaw.

The only part of him that is weaker is that he can't sit there with his chainsaw revved anymore.
That's literally the only part.
Everything else is you just needing to adapt to a different playstyle for Bubba.

Leatherface received no changes from PTB to live client. Maybe you just need to adjust your playstyle? He plays a lot differently now than before.

He is DEFINITLEY stronger. You'll need to see which addons are good and which addons aren't. I have 4kd all three times I have tried him. Try his Ultra addons together its disgusting.

The only difference between PTB and now is that his iri's aren't bugged and his tantrum meter doesn't go up as much when feathering.

Will try the Ultra addon! But I find the addon names very incomprehensible.

He's so much better now. You can finally force survivors into mindgameable situations where if they misjudge distances you can either force really fast pallet break or get free instadown. He's by no means A tier killer but he's improved a lot.

i love how far his saw goes now its disgusting lol i used the tuning guide and you can essential sweep an entire hallway in midwich lol

They managed to nerf his addons too. They nerfed his best addons (the ones which decrease chainsaw charge time) so now you can't even charge the chainsaw faster. What is their ######### problem with killer addons? Why are they always trash?

He is definitely stronger now although people who mastered the old bubba w/ pwyf and nemesis might have a hard time adjusting to the new bubba.

It was so frustrating before that survivors could just keep running through pallets/windows and you would never catch up even at times where you read them and actually juked around said pallet/window you still could have missed due to the low reach his chainsaw used to have. I love how much better it's now.

His chainsaw is now much stronger at loops because it is much faster and has a longer duration. He is also now even more deadly in deadzones, which this game has enough of, so I find him too be much stronger now.

Slowly I understand his mechanics and which addons are good on him. He is strong, definitely, but he is... different. I think I still have to get used to it!

The new bubba is a siege machine, I think it will be a tier 1 assassin now.

@DezzyTV They Didnt change much about bubba from the ptb to now tho. they messed with the cooldown and that was it if anything they mad it better for bubba he can still rev camp you for a long period of time.

Well they weakened a lot of things. Leatherface can't cancel his chainsaw anymore. He has no charge time decreasing add-on. If you use his Iri add-on, after you hit survivor, you can't stop chainsaw which is major waste of time and Tantrum takes forever to get out of. Since you use all 3 token, you have a cooldown for breaking pallets with chainsaw. On top of that, he still has addons that now increase charge time of his chainsaw as if it didn't take long enough at base. I wish could press my power button to cancel chainsaw, chainsaw sweeps and not need to hit walls on purpose to get out of chainsaw sprint with iri add-on. Oh well, the changes aren't surprising considering Billy's laughable add-on list.

Yes, it is! I played a few more rounds with him and just tried the addons. I'm starting to get along better with him, but he still feels weird to play with

they barely changed anything from the PTB for Leatherface. And I have yet to get a 1-2k with him after 10 games, but that's just me. I think you just need to learn him better. Just because you have trouble doesn't mean everyone is the same way.

I played LF a whole lot before the update and I can 100% guarantee he is stronger now.
His main issue used to be requirement to rub yourself against a survivor to hit a chainsaw. Now you can do it from further away and even mindgame at smaller pallet loops due to his increased speed.
He's a beast now.

Since the patch every game I had has been either been against leatherface or hillbilly and in my opinion leatherface is way stronger than before. Personally I believe he needs to be nerfed by slowing down his speed while revving the chainsaw or by slowing down his normal speed by like .2 or .1.

I agree. Without the charge time add-ons, Bubba takes forever to rev his saw. Unless you're stacking both of the Iri add-ons every game, he's really not in much of a better spot than before. He still has no map pressure or real mobility, so he'll still get gen rushed like before.

Oh sure he will need more practice. I really do think they buffed him, but they also made him more challenging to use, which really is a good thing in my opinion.

I think you just need to get some time in with him. Pretty sure old Doc mains claimed new Doc was worse before they actually got some practice in.
