This update man....
• New see through x-ray auras are blurry and make my eye sight seem messed up. (I’m sure a lot of you can agree)
•As if FPS wasn’t bad enough for Xbox, it got worse and almost every match is laggy.
•You can now beat survivors on hook again if you feel like being an A-hole even though taking away hook beating was supposedly intended.
•aiming a flashlight seems off, almost seems like it’s aiming lower than what you aimed for
•can’t tell if billy is nerfed or not because his overheat mechanic doesn’t seem to exist as the cool down is super fast but his add-ons suck IMO.
These are my opinions and what I experienced from this update, if you have anymore problems that you’ve experienced please share below if you’d like.

I agree with all of your points. Billys add ons need to be redone and the auras are trash. Im also having 30 min waiting time for killer. Yesterday I got games in 3 or 5 minutes now I can heat up some mac and cheese and eat it before I find a game. This update sucks. Also add me on Xbox my gamer tag is my name.

I don't think I've ever hated going against Billy more than right now, but it's probably because I just had 6 back to back and we died each time.
Edit: Also good luck finding totem auras. You have to be almost on top of them with a map.

Almost every game I’ve played today has been Bubba, I haven’t seen a Billy yet

PS4 performance is crappy right now.
They manage to make it laggy as Bubba, which was one of the most fluid (fps) killers to play.

This update was...expected. I've played a couple of Billy games and honestly the cooldown doesn't seem to be affecting me at all, so if this is how the overheat is supposed to work then I take back what I said about the Billy changes, he feels decent.
But man, those auras...

The only part of this update that concerns me is the auras.
I have gotten against a billy today and he seemed the same as always, he's ok

I played a match and had a lot of micro lag, but I did notice the BBQ auras were not right. Why remove the definition and make them almost the same color as a gen? A lot of people on Steam complained of intense micro-lag ruining the experience after the update when it ran fine before.

Hook beating wasn't removed on purpose, it was confirmed on forum that it is a bug.
Adding to it: I hate the Billy chase music. Billy is an original original killer and should have the original chase music.

I was watching Otz on stream and they've done something with Plague's purge now. It moves in more of an arc.

Just went against a bunch of Bubbas, and man his buff is nice. All of his skills seem niftier now.
Thankfully I started seeing some Legions, a Wraith, & a Ghost Face. Getting tired of chain saw gang, lol.

This games going backwards instead of forwards. Experienced devs unhappy while the less experienced devs make all these dumb changes.
2 matches i managed today before quiting and re-installing a couple of old games i havent played in a while.
Played this game for over 3 years and i try not to moan much but this games in a terrible state right now.
Next update should be reworking the devs.

Yeah I think we were too quick to judge the Billy changes. The PTB was definitely bad, but they've made some good changes to it on live. Don't think I overheated once in the several Billy games I played today, with addons or addonless.

The basekit changes that were made aren't bad, the add-ons still need work but I think they might be changing them.
And if you consider ptb Billy to now, I'd call his basekit rework mostly a success. Doesn't do almost anything if you're good at Billy, and punishes you for being bad. Curving and mindgaming with his saw is still possible, you just do it a bit less and have to be certain that you're making the right decision or you're only getting an M1 because you'll overheat.

Did see a hard drop in fps. Xbox player before ran smooth for me but updated feels super choppy.

I reinstalled the game to try the update.
Had one match-on pc- and between the horrible, twitchy FPS and the weird barely visible auras my eyes legit started to hurt. No joke.

Seems like they've been changing stuff just for the sake of change. I see no reason why they needed to do anything different with Franklin's Demise.

Can you tell me why it is such a big deal if a killer can or can't hit you on hook?
It doesn't change the situation for the surv on the hook, and is detrimental to the killer if they keep doing it because everyone can hear it.
Does it hurt survivors ego or something?

you have it the other way around.... the killers that I’ve came across that have beaten me on hook or my other teammates are the ones that Camp with NOED and use a Mori. It boosts THEIR Ego. So beating them on hook is their way (IMO) of saying they did something when in reality they suck. So yes, that’s why it would of been nice to have not reimplemented back in.
