^This. But maybe people making these threads just want to keep him popular.

I was starting to think the same thing tbh.0 -
The console port was a mistake. Just think, if the broken, laggy, glitchy, console version didn't exist we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
I respect console players don't get me wrong. It just seems like the console port was rushed and poorly executed.2 -

I'm not aiming for that. I just saw him on twitch and my ears started to bleed after spending 30 seconds on his channel. I'm just curious. I realize they don't have the power to enforce account bans on consoles, but they don't have to necessarily do so. Can't they just deny him access to DBD?

hate to play devils advocate here (jk i love it) but his hardware was banned aka his pc. hes using new hardware now.
i havent seen evidence of cheating on ps4. if this exists, please show me.2 -

After playing the PC version so much, I was happy to see it come to console so I could play with my friends. However, the base PS4 and XBOX One cannot run the game well with its current optimization. PS4 Pro hits 60fps more often, which is nice. But idk how XBOX One S and X do with it.

Tbh, same applies to the pc version from the beta till now .Peasant said:The console port was a mistake. Just think, if the broken, laggy, glitchy, console version didn't exist we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Cheating or not, it’s still classified as Ban Evasion. OchiDO is just using Sony as a scapegoat to protect himself. Ban Evasion is a bannable offense, Sony needs to stop protecting him.Lowbei said:hate to play devils advocate here (jk i love it) but his hardware was banned aka his pc. hes using new hardware now.

Sony isnt protecting anyone. They dont give companies the ability to ban on their system for obvious reasons.SovererignKing said:

Its not ban evasion. He got some software bans, and thus used other software. He then got a hardware ban, and thus cant use that hardware anymore.
Hes now using different hardware, on a different platform.
Hes not going anywhere, and most of the people upset about this are PC users who are vindictive and want “ban revenge”.
You already got it. Be happy and stop obsessing over Ochido, because I guarantee he doesnt think about you at all.0 -
I’m a PS4 player. I’m not concerned for myself really. Just others. People get banned on Final Fantasy 14 for real money trading, hacking, cheats, ect. all the time. Even if they play on the PS4 version and not PC.Lowbei said:

Sony gives game developers permission to ban all the time. BHVR just didn’t get their permission in the original agreement they made when they ported DBD to console. All they have to do is reach out to Sony and work with them to get permission.0 -

Wasn't this a part of their whole console optimization plan for December or something?

Sony is directly involved in Squares games, thus final fantasy isnt a good example, and Ochido hasnt money traded, hacked, or cheated on ps4.SovererignKing said:

Sony is directly involved in DBD just as much as they are in Squares game. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t have to go through a lengthy certification process on patches. They wouldn’t be getting a cut on Auric Cell sales and such. They wouldn’t be getting a cut on DLC sales.Lowbei said:

Is OchiDO making the same toxic content he always has? Yes, yes he is. He’s evading his ban by “platform hopping”.Which has happened in loads of games including the aforementioned FFXIV.
”Platform Hopping” is a common form of Ban Evasion. Once BHVR gets permission from Sony, I expect OchiDO to be banned quickly. Just as most games do.0 -
nope. platform hopping (not sure why you used quotes lol) is perfectly fine. he wasnt banned for life, his hardware was banned. you are grasping at straws and the fact that you mentioned him being toxic just shows that you are upset.SovererignKing said:

I often put phrases in quotations. Regardless, Other games consider Platform Hopping a variation of Ban Evasion. All BHVR hasn’t to do is get permission from Sony. Which they can ban him for such. Yeah, I don’t like his content and call him toxic. Big deal, still doesn’t change the fact he’s Ban evading via platform hopping.Lowbei said:

BHVR hasn't added the ban system to console yet.
It took them close to a year to add it to PC even.
You can't expect Sony to ban people because BHVR "is planning to add bans to console but have no ETA".
Every other online game I have played on psn in the last 10 years has had its own ban system

this isnt even close to true, and he would simply buy another console or have a fan send him another. you are fighting a losing battle and the irony of your “deal with it” while you whine about bhvrs inability to do what you want, is kinda funny.SovererignKing said:

Its not ban evasion. He got some software bans, and thus used other software. He then got a hardware ban, and thus cant use that hardware anymore.
Hes now using different hardware, on a different platform.
Hes not going anywhere, and most of the people upset about this are PC users who are vindictive and want “ban revenge”.
You already got it. Be happy and stop obsessing over Ochido, because I guarantee he doesnt think about you at all.
Sony gives game developers permission to ban all the time. BHVR just didn’t get their permission in the original agreement they made when they ported DBD to console. All they have to do is reach out to Sony and work with them to get permission.
Next?
Is OchiDO making the same toxic content he always has? Yes, yes he is. He’s evading his ban by “platform hopping”.Which has happened in loads of games including the aforementioned FFXIV.
”Platform Hopping” is a common form of Ban Evasion. Once BHVR gets permission from Sony, I expect OchiDO to be banned quickly. Just as most games do.
sony isnt giving bhvr permissions to ban, its a legal liability thing. get over it.
Guessing your a fan considering how hard you’re trying to defend him. That’s really cute. Also, no it’s not a legal liability. If it was, then other games like FFXIV wouldn’t be able to do it. Deal with it.
by the way, wouldnt it be hilarious if you found out that ochido posts on this forum under a different name?
I wouldn’t care if he did. I’d still call him the same piece of ######### I always have. If you are him, I find it ironic. You were so bad you even got banned from the forums for a while.0 -
ok. feel free to bump this thread a year from now when hes still playing.SovererignKing said:
Did I start this thread? Nope. Just commenting. Let him play for however long it last. If BHVR does what they need to do and gets permission from Sony, I can’t see why they wouldn’t ban him. That’s all.Lowbei said:
Ochido is playing with no issues, youre the one crying on the forums about him claiming he will be banned soon. “deal with it”SovererignKing said:
Go ahead, he’ll just get banned on that console as well. Hope they have deep pockets and can continue to buy new ones over and over. If it isn’t true, then all those Platform Hoppers should really sue Square Enix for wrongfully being banned, shouldn’t they? It’s hilarious how you just sit there and flop and flounder about this. They can’t do it yet, but they will once Sony gives them the go ahead. It’s just an inevitability.Lowbei said:
this isnt even close to true, and he would simply buy another console or have a fan send him another. you are fighting a losing battle and the irony of your “deal with it” while you whine about bhvrs inability to do what you want, is kinda funny.SovererignKing said:
I often put phrases in quotations. Regardless, Other games consider Platform Hopping a variation of Ban Evasion. All BHVR hasn’t to do is get permission from Sony. Which they can ban him for such. Yeah, I don’t like his content and call him toxic. Big deal, still doesn’t change the fact he’s Ban evading via platform hopping.Lowbei said:
nope. platform hopping (not sure why you used quotes lol) is perfectly fine. he wasnt banned for life, his hardware was banned. you are grasping at straws and the fact that you mentioned him being toxic just shows that you are upset.SovererignKing said:
Sony is directly involved in DBD just as much as they are in Squares game. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t have to go through a lengthy certification process on patches. They wouldn’t be getting a cut on Auric Cell sales and such. They wouldn’t be getting a cut on DLC sales.Lowbei said:
Sony is directly involved in Squares games, thus final fantasy isnt a good example, and Ochido hasnt money traded, hacked, or cheated on ps4.SovererignKing said:
I’m a PS4 player. I’m not concerned for myself really. Just others. People get banned on Final Fantasy 14 for real money trading, hacking, cheats, ect. all the time. Even if they play on the PS4 version and not PC.Lowbei said:
Sony isnt protecting anyone. They dont give companies the ability to ban on their system for obvious reasons.SovererignKing said:
Cheating or not, it’s still classified as Ban Evasion. OchiDO is just using Sony as a scapegoat to protect himself. Does it really matter if he isn't on your platform anymore? It's just the PC players getting triggered and if he isn't cheating on PS4 there's no reason for PS4 players to get triggered either.
Yes, I've seen his content, it was awful.

Will Ochido roll his dark influence to PS4? Will Sovereignking post ITT a year from now with information on the dark lord? Could the mysterious stranger Lowbei actually be Ochido himself? Find out....
we're probably never going to find out actually. Most of us will be dead without ever knowing these answers, and they aren't that important anyway I guess. This was funnier in my head.0 -
Wonder how PC players would take it if he came back to PC then? This just a case of “not in my backyard”?Legacy_Zealot said:Does it really matter if he isn't on your platform anymore?
