Knock Out Buff, suggested by Scott Jund.

Suggested Buff which will also make it work against SWF:
• Your screen darkens up immensely, so you're sort of actually knocked out.
• You suffer from the oblivious status effect as long as you're down

I do like the Blindness because it can help reduce the Recovery snowball (without Blindness, dying Survivors can see the location of other dying Survivors, bypassing Knockout's effect, and giving them the ability to bee-line for other dying Survivors once fully recovered). 15 seconds is too short though.
I think Knockout should affect basic attacks and insta-downs (including the Exposed status effect).
The hopping-into-lockers for a grab instead of Knockout down can stay as counterplay.

There was already an unlisted effect on it, when you're downed with it, all sounds are muffled by like 75%, so it's very difficult to tell how close the killer is anyway.

Ive seen it more from Scott Jund fans the most and I'm not sure like I basically know all this mans opinions cause whenever he speaks a new forum post comes up about what he just said lol

Because if Scott Jund says it then it must be true. At least that’s what everyone thinks. Kind of annoying how people use the argument of “Well...Scott Jund said this” instead of formulating their own opinion. A lot of people would rather piggy back off of what a popular streamers opinion is because it’s easier.

Lol yeah sadly this scene isn't exactly DBD exclusive either its HARDCORE Found in this rhythm game I play's (Project Diva) community. They ported a PS4 game to the switch but changed the graphics to be more cute and cartoony and at first everyone LOVED it til the youtubers were like "It looks bad." Now suddenly its the worse game ever lol

I disagree with Scott very often, hes 100% correct on this though. They made a bad to ok perk basically useless. For me anyway. This was 100% a nerf

It's a Leatherface perk. It's crap on Leatherface because of this.

And he can use basic attack to do it. It also allows Franklins Demise to actually work too, his second basic attack perk.

I wasn’t talking about his specific idea change on Knock Out but how people agree on a majority of his viewpoints simply because he’s a popular streamer in the community.
An example is that his viewpoint is that killers like Pyramid Head and Deathslinger are “boring” killers. Fine. He can believe that. It’s his opinion but seeing multiple threads by different people gets tiresome and annoying. All they do it reiterate and state the same thing over and over again basically piggy backing off of his belief rather than forming their own opinion.

It isn't really important to me who suggested it but these seem reasonable. I think the darkened screen should slowly brighten over time. I don't like the basic attack requirement either. That should go. I would argue that many of the perks don't need a basic attack requirement that have one. But I think they are trying to do it for the sake of consistency which is at least a decent argument.

If its any consolation I hate when people parrot the exact words I've used too. I just make thought videos because I like talking about game design.

It’s not that I have an issue with you personally. It’s just that I feel like a lot of players will inevitably piggy back on the opinions of people with a bigger audience rather than thinking “how do I really feel about this killer?” Instead will make posts and use the argument “This streamer said so and so”.
But I can only imagine that it’s not fun to have people parrot your words :/
Yes I disagree with some opinions you have but it’s just that...an opinion. We all have one and what killers people find “boring” or “fun” is completely subjective.
I still enjoy watching your videos and streams. It helped me A LOT when learning killer and still helps me to this day.

I'm honestly not even a huge fan I found out about him like 2 months ago, I'm just using a streamer who made some valid points in a couple of videos beforehand to back up the point that knock out is trash.
I'd be ok with any other change that just prevents SWF from completely destroying the perk's functionality.
